Policies on having non-student friends over in dorm halls?
I'm an incoming freshman for the 25-26 year and I'm struggling to find the general policy within regards to having guests over.
What would be the general procedure—is there guests passes? Would they be able to stay the night?
If anyone has a link to something of interest, please let me know!

Honestly no one cares about this rule. That being said if you don’t like your roomates and they don’t complain then it’s a issue but other than that no one cares at all

If you want to have friends spend the night, technically there is a guest request form, but it is loosley enforced. You can definitely have friends over- your dorm is basically your apartment and your RA doesnt have the time or desire to constantly monitor you. Look at the UO housing contract for information, but honestly the thing to keep in mind when having friends over is if your roommate is comfortable with it or not. If your roommate feels uncomfortable, that is when the most issues will arise.
