I've heard thermal doesn't pick them up, but really no idea.

Id love to point my own thermal at them just to test that theory. A good friend of mine just bought a $5,000 thermal scope for his helmet. Id do anything to take it to NJ and test it

The /r/nightvision reports say they dont appear under thermal.

Cool username.

Scary drones though. I see them everyday in Northern NJ.

I can't wait until someone throws pictures up of a downed one,jts bound to happen.

They should still appear, even if not giving off a thermal signature

Sure, but it's hard to detect the variation from the background. Same way bodies can use sun facing rocks to hide their thermal signatures.

Are you by any chance related to Chester?

That's awesome! Please try to test it on a known drone to establish what those look like on thermal first. Then if you see something anomalous, you can compare vs the control (normal drone). You can do stuff like have it hover. Then move towards/away...establish what it SHOULD look like. Recording it all well, of course. :)

That is a great idea. I will try to do this as soon as he gets it in the mail, I have a dji drone I can test it on. Also tomorrow night, I am going to fly my drone and take pictures if it to show what it looks like in the air. I don't know if it will be helpful to this situation or not but I feel like every piece of data can help.

Yo if he's got that much money to spend why not try and get to see if he'd be willing to take that trip 😂

Money doesn't always grant you free time unfortunately

Yeah that's true. :/

At least there's that other guy who posted they has $8k thermal camera that's gonna go check it out!

If the government is saying all these “drone” aren’t theirs then I’d help shoot them down if you record it. Not illegal right since they don’t belong to the U.S.?

I would not shoot at any of these drones. The faa will certainly put you in prison.

A thermal camera would tell us which of these are military or government drones and those with no heat signature would be identified as a mystery drone.

Is thermal the same as IR? Because IR picks them up. My friend saw one with his IR camera when he took a trip to UTAH a few months ago.

Your wrong, Thermal is about the ONLY thing that works. What's Not really working is Night Vision, Two on the Ground Citizen Scientists working with the FBI and consulting with Ross Coulthart for News Nation said that you literally have to Tweak the settings of the Night Vision Specs just to try and spot them . PUSH, is right tho Having FLIR (Infa Red), Night Vision and Thermal are really the best things possible . Those are able to see in various Spectrums the human eye can't and the Spectrum of Preference for these UAPs. I've attached the Video of what I'm talking about so I don't have to find it your self , enjoy! WE WERE NEVER ALONE 🛸👽
