About Homelander's and A-Train's speed. Discussion

Yes the faded bird-plane looking thing is Homelander in the image below.

Homelander's speed is shown in a security camera whilst looking for Translucent. His speed is around 1800 to 2000 kph, not sure how accurate the camera is.

A-Train while on Compound V is shown to be 371 m/s , 1335.6 kph.

My Headcannon is that maybe Homelander doesn't have the perception of seeing things around him in slow motion, but A-Train has time slow perception at great speeds, we see this when he fights Starlight

Maybe season 5 will prove me wrong, what are your opinions?

I also believe that homelander can't necessarily accelerate to that kind of speed on a dime like A-train can. That was a really brief sprint that had two substantial curves in it. We never really see him running out across the open ocean or anything, so we have no idea how fast he could get given a space as open as the air homelander is flying in in the scene you provided. I doubt homelander could reach that kind of speed flying in a tight oval like that.

Homelander must have accelerated pretty quickly to save both Butcher and Teddy from a bomb at the exact instant its explosion was triggered by Butcher (and realistically would have crushed them both trying to do that, maybe not Teddy because he's a supe).
