Changing subscription plans and credited back money

Hello! I recently subscribed to an annual plan but then decided immediately to change to monthly. The app said that "Any remaining time on your plan will be prorated and credited back to your payment method by Google Play."

Does this mean that I'll get my money back from what I spent for the annual plan minus the payment from monthly plan? How long will the "prorated and credited back" part take?

Those are all questions you’d need to ask to Google play or Strava (depending how you subscribed)
