I think it’s telling that his head was separate from the body, and that the thing that lived inside his head was still alive.

What is 33 is just a vessel for the small creature. Like the creature was controlling it.

Honestly, I’m kind of expecting that. I’ll need to watch again to see if we ever see him talking and we see the creature at the same time.
