PWWA: Chick-Fil-A, if I don’t say “thank you,” do you avoid having to say “my pleasure?”
If so, do you prefer that customers not say “thank you” so that you can avoid the hassle?
The other day I was in a rush and forgot to say “thank you” and I realized that as a result, the employee didn’t say “my pleasure” and while at first I felt embarrassed, I then started to wonder if I did the person a favor by not expressing my gratitude.

Company Secrets PWWA: Rooms to go replacement/repair. I’d rather a replacement.
A ball point pen leaked and made a small stain (one 4” one 2”, width of a marker).
Can that be cleaned? If not I was thinking I might also have an accident where the fabric gets a small cut. This sectional isn’t available anymore.
Thanks for your tips to work this cheap furniture warranty.

PWWA Cafe Rio
How do you guys make the rice? I’ve heard it’s just cilantro mixed in with normal white rice. Is that true?

PWWA Chip City (NYC)
I know this is a long shot, but any chip city current or former employees here? They are soooo guarded with how they make the cookies, but I have to know how they are baked. Are the centers frozen? Are they a different dough? How do they make those cookies that are thick yet gooey in the middle?
I have yet to find a recipe that even comes close and preliminary experiments have been a disaster.

PWWA airlines as flight attendants, do you check the seat map to see if people change seats?
Just as the title says. I saw someone change seats mid flight to a different row that was empty. Do flight attendants check if a seat should be empty and stuff or do they generally not care? No one said anything to him so l assume not but it got me thinking.

Company Secrets PWWA Pick Up Stix: What's the Recipe for That Delicious Wonton Dipping Sauce?
Asked this a couple of years ago, re-posting in the hopes that someone will know now. Or at the very least, which of these sauces even is it? It’s not mentioned by name anywhere I can find.

Industry Secrets PWWA Organized Crime, how much do henchmen make?
I just finished Better Call Saul and now I’m going through Breaking Bad again, and I start wondering how much money these guys are making. Nacho, Tyrus, Victor, Mike. They seem like the go-to guys with no specific job other than doing whatever needs to be done. How much money are the real life counterparts making doing this kind of thing? Not the head honchos of course, just the thugs.

Help and Advice PWWA drugs tests for employment reasons. How can I beat a drugs test?
I've been told they're screening for weed and coke and if I've consumed either within the last month, I'll fail. I don't need to worry about coke, but two weeks ago, I had a tiny little bit of weed -just one bowl, I didn't know I had a drugs test on the horizons.
It wasn't killer weed and I was wondering, would such a small amount even register? If so, is there anything I can do to make it so I pass?

Help and Advice PWWA website hosting/design
A family friend who ran a business like this for years passed away recently. His son will determine which sites they can continue to host (minimal-to-no-change needed), and which they cannot. How does one “sell websites” to other hosting services? How is website valuation handled? (Additional relevant info beyond answers to these two questions is also welcome!)

Working Experience PWWA Disneyworld as a princess (or any actor if its worldwide (pun intended))
I've heard that since Disney is (supposedly) the happiest place on Earth, princesses get a cut in their pay if they're caught by another worker, and they aren't smiling. Is this true, if so, have you ever broken the rule? If not, are there any actual rules that are similarly odd?

Company Secrets PWWA Starbucks
Last time I was at my local Starbucks, I noticed a sign listing all the baristas names and their orders. Is this actually in all of the (or most) stores? If so, do they walk up to you and ask for your order, or do they just check the system the next time you order? Also, side question, have you ever had someone order your drink for you as a treat (hopefully on break)?

Working Experience PWWA(s) a freelance designer for CAD programs, AutoCAD, Fusion, etc.
Does it make enough in your area to make a living without a side gig? I've been thinking of doing it but I'm worried I won't make enough, I don't mind working at McDonalds, in fact, I think everyone should work there (or somewhere similar) at least once, to see how they're treated. Anyway, I'm teaching myself how to use Fusion 360 and I took HS classes in AutoCAD. But, with the need for online stuff with the Metaverse and everything, is freelance Fusion (which I prefer because I find it easier to use) designer a viable career?

Working Procedures PWWA prison or jail system
For the employees who read and approve any correspondence prior to it being given to an inmate, are you ever sent any random message specifically for whoever is reading? An example is I send texts to a friend who's currently incarcerated and now and then I will include a p.s. for the person reading for approval, something like " for whoever is reading this besides my friend I truly hope you have a great day!!" I'm curious if anyone has that job what they think?

Working Experience PWWA Medpace in the Dallas area, what is it like to work there?
Hi, I have been stuck in the DFW area with many letters after my name that apparently mean things, but "job" isn't one of them! I cannot find a job in this area. It's dry for biotech, so I am desperate. I have heard really terrible things about MedPace in Cincinnati, but people are reticent about the location in this area. I have been told to stay away, but with my combo of degrees, I don't think anyone else will take me. It is a weird situation. If anyone knows anything about MedPace in DFW, please let me know! Thanks!

Help and Advice PWWA any job, would you be able to take interview questions for class assignment of mine?
Hi everyone don't know if this is the right place to post or not but I don't know who else to ask these questions to. Got a class assignment to interview one person working pretty much any job really, would appreciate anyone answering this. You don't have to answer some questions if you don't want.
- What's your name? (Give any name you like, nickname, online alias, etc)
- What's your job title?
- Name and type of company?
- Company/business location (city and state)
- How long have you been employed in your current position?
- Describe what you do on a typical day.
- What do you like most about your job and why?
- What do you like least about your job and why?
- How did you decide to get into this field, and what steps did you take to enter the field? What alternative ways can one enter this field?
- What training would you recommend for someone who wanted to enter this field now? What skills and background are needed to get into this field now?
- What are the opportunities for promotion?
- Is this field expanding (why or why not)? Taking any new directions? If so, in what direction is it moving?
- What related occupations might I investigate?
- Can you give me the names of other people who might share your enthusiasm for this kind of work? How can I contact them?
- Is there anything else about this field that would be helpful for me to know?
