Sweden safer than Denmark?! I guess gunshot deaths don’t count…

About four people gets murdered by way of firearms in Denmark each year. In Sweden it was 53 last year… if you normalise for population it would be 8 vs 53. In neighbouring Norway there were 11 which would be about 22 if you normalise for Sweden’s population size.

Sweden is much higher, but it’s still not high enough to be a real concern for tourists

Definitely. Historically, they were colored red so that they could be easily identified and given to poor people.

For some reason the color stuck.
