Preguntas/Questions Hello dear r/malaga
I am student moving to Manilva wondering how public transport work from Puerto De La Duquesa to San roque club is there any city transportation card or mobile app I can use to buy tickets ?
Regarding accommodation : why is it so expensive for a single here compared to Algeciras? Is there anyway to find bit affordable accommodation? Like around 200-300€?

Preguntas/Questions Where to eat/drink with Málaga supporters before games at Rosaleda
I’ll be in Málaga for a few months and will try to attend as many games at Rosaleda as possible.
Where does supporters go for drinks and food before the games? I’m used to football and ultras culture, so it doesn’t have to be family friendly in any way. The more genuin the better!
Thanks!

Discusiones/Discussions Fireworks and Bangers
What is the story with teenagers using fireworks and bangers every single day?
Like I get it on special days, but now it is just every single day. Are they able to buy them or do their parents give it to them?
We are staying in Huelin and there are a group of around 20 teenagers meet at the playpark outside our apartment at 11pm every night. They light fireworks, throw them at our building, throw them at each other etc. Is this normal?

Preguntas/Questions Need advice regarding rentals
Hi everyone! me and my partner are looking to rent in malaga area for 1 year stay. the only doubt that is stopping us is somene told that the prices of rental increases by alot in summers as compared to winters.
being if we go early during this winter season we can lock in a much better monthly rental for the entire year vs. we going in summers. (Our preference is around May)
can someone please verify if it's true OR the price hike is not very significant and we can come in Mary directly?

Preguntas/Questions What are these metal tokens for?
I’ve been to a Dutch city that had something similar but it was to illustrate where the bombs fell on WW2
But based on the looks of this, I want to assume it’s from the government? Maybe to reach certain maintenance points quicker?
I’m just curious, anyone got an idea what this is?

Preguntas/Questions Activity recommendations in Malaga
Hello, My partner and I are travelling to Malaga mid Feb for 4 days (3 nights) and are looking for some activities we could do; We generally love some water activities.
I wasn’t sure what would be possible in Feb, considering the colder weather. I checked trip advisor and get your guide, but would love some local recommendations and more practical possibilities.
P.S- I did see something about dolphin watching and was wondering if that is actually possible or just a tourist trap.

Preguntas/Questions Surrendering a dog to the shelter
Has anyone ever had to surrender their dog to a shelter in malaga? Through some really really shitty turns in life I can no longer afford to keep my dog at my house. Is there any way to surrender him instead of euthanizing him? I’m unbelievably heartbroken about it and will do anything to make sure he’s not killed.
He is about 180 pounds and about as big as a Great Dane.

Preguntas/Questions Malaga to Seville Train trip with baby
Hi! Would appreciate some advice.
I will be travelling from Malaga to Sevilla and would love to take the train. I know there is a transfer during the journey. How difficult is the transfer? I will be travelling with a baby so will have all their stuff (stroller, car seat, luggage, etc). Or is there any direct trips?

Preguntas/Questions Romantic restaurant in Malaga
Dear people of this Reddit,
In the start of February I've planned a city trip to your beautiful city. One of the reasons is to celebrate the birthday of my girlfriend. I am looking for a nice restaurant for dinner to celebrate this moment.
If you guys have any suggestions as 'locals' for a nice restaurant where they serve traditional/tapas, I would love to hear them.
The reason I am asking this, is because on TripAdvisor everything looks quite nice, but I don't want to fall for any tourist trap. I know that some restaurants do everything to be one of the top ranked places, while I've had the best experiences with the lower ranked ones.
Thank you for your suggestions and I look forward to visiting Malaga.

Preguntas/Questions Looking to borrow a longboard in Malaga for next week
Hi everyone! I will be traveling to Malaga tomorrow and staying until the 7th of January. I would love to be able to borrow a longboard from someone for a few bucks, so that I can explore the city with it while I am there.
I am unfortunately not able to brong my own since it would cost me a lot to bring with me on the flight.
Please write me if you have one you currently don't need and are willing to borrow it to me. I am of course very careful with it and in case something happens to it, I will pay you.

Otras/Other intl. student wanting to start/join a content house/group in malaga
i’m a 19yo from the middle east, and i’ve been living in marbella since sept. since i go to uni there. it’s been quite rough socially since 99% of people seem to party and do nothing else w their time, and im (or i try to be) very entrepreneurial and occupied with building things whether it’s companies, relationships, memories or more.
i’m also a filmmaker/photographer and chef and i’ve been creating content professionally for brands and myself for the past 3 years.
i want to start or join a content house as said above, and make content with the people in Malaga and spain/europe of course. i’m heavily inspired by the likes of Kelly Wakasa and Casey Neistat etc and I want to create fun, group oriented, engaging content.
so i’m writing out with the hopes that im gonna reach more of you, and hopefully establish something soon! even just getting to know people who’ve considered youtube/social media or just want to network would be awesome!
p.s if anyone knows where i could rent a place, idealista they are not replying lol. thanks again

Day 2: Have Churros for breakfast from Casa Aranda. Walk through Soho, admire the street art and go into shops. Walk through Malaga Park until we reach the Roman Theater and Alcazaba de Malaga.
Spanish is not a language I speak fluently. I just want to see if there are free concerts or shows or fireworks I can see with my family. Please don’t be so vulgar towards me, I just want to see what this city has to offer.
