I mean cmon, republicans have been dog whistling since Reagan years, really since the mid-60s, and outright racism form the republicans has been out in the open since the rise of Trumpism a decade ago - personally can’t believe any of the tech folks are really that surprised. They’re probably more surprised that the South Asian model minority bubble is bursting imho
