I mentioned it in another comment but I would not be shocked if DOGE is dead and buried by the time Trump takes office.

Which is going to cause a lot of chaos when Elon retaliates.

To be fair, I think Elon also fucked himself thinking he could buy MAGA and they’d show him loyalty.

You cannot tell me Trump doesn’t have people already whispering in his ear about Elon trying to get rid of him.

Honestly it would be a bottomless buffet if Trump unleashes the DOJ on Elon Musk. Have Space X, PayPal and X investigated and brought down. I can't say I would approve of Presidents using the DOJ that way but its like that scene in Shawshank Redemption when the sex predator Boggs gets crippled for life by the guards.

I mean he did promise to drain the swamp. He would just be doing that who cares the reason. What i fear is Elon going running back to the dems. Given they gave a place at the table for the Cheney's they showed they have no bottom in embracing people.

That's not what I said at all. I said they are going to double down. They are going to go even harder even towards the center. They are going to cozy up even more to war criminals, billionaires, and lobbyists. They are going to disavow "marxism".

PayPal was his first successfull investment bet. They gladly accepted his money and then used legal means to prevent him from making any business decisions, like renaming the company to "X".

Space X has already acted directly against US security interests (especially regarding the use of Starlink in Ukraine). It is the duty of the DOJ and White House to investigate them, and i hope Biden has very good reasons he has not done so
