They have to speed run. The villagers are slowly starting to see. Sooooo slowly. When maw maw and pee paw stop getting their SSI checks, everything blows up.

I can only hope this incoming administration gets so bogged down with infighting that it just becomes a lame duck. It seems the right is capable of putting up the facade of unity for only as long as it takes for the votes to be counted. Then it's the classic American mentality of "I got mine, fuck you."

Yeah there’s going to be a lot of distraction and infighting and palace intrigue bullshit that will cause resistance. But they have a problem in the house and that is an effective one-seat majority and a speaker everyone hates. Trump MAY manage to pass tax cuts, but he won’t get to pass anything else. And he will lose the house and probably the senate in 2026. Get ready for an executive orders extravaganza.
