This is actually very good news. They weren’t any good at reading the signs when they were merely blatantly obvious, after all. Some people simply cannot learn until it happens to themselves. And this is a great “learning opportunity,”

This is assuming that it is in fact a learning opportunity and we have the chance to reverse course democratically.

People said Trump wasn't serious on the tariffs and now we are all bracing. People said Trump wasn't serious about deportations and headlines like this are making their rounds. People said Trump's Supreme Court picks wouldn't repeal Roe vs Wade, and now women are dying because they can't find health care for their miscarriages.

Trump said in a rally we would never have to vote again. Do we really think he doesn't intend on making good on that?

Right? It’s like we’ve already forgotten our world history. I’m looking at you Germany and the former USSR. But what do I know? 🤷‍♀️
