My new Leatherman came looking used

Just bought my first leatherman a wave + 2h and i think it looks used. Is that normal should i send it back?

Its probably better to order them directly at the leathermen store right?

That's usually what I do unless there's a screaming deal somewhere.

I'm in Canada and there usually isnt

Germany here so i was happy that someone sells it near me but well seems like a small mistake. Only buy from the supplier.

i work in a gear shop, that return should not have been allowed. idk if the system works differently in Germany or that specific chain of shops though.

Yeah agreed they should not do that. I have no idea how it works here but at least i can get my money back or get a replacement but i wont give this shop another chance.

Not to be the voice of reason or anything, but it could be an honest mistake.

If it was sold as new, that's a problem. If it's used, it should have been sold as used for a discount.

Return it and tell them what happened, and ask for a new item.

If they don't want to then yeah, don't ever do business with them again, let other people know, and let them know you're going to let other people know.

It was sold as new sadly. I will just try to get my money back and buy from leathermans website
