Can't believe I have to post this.....
Do not post about having someone beat you up or have them kill you. I get it...shit is crazy right now but just go get help. Don't come on here with something that will ACTUALLY get you in trouble with law enforcement...Now, have a nice day and happy redditing!

You all are awesome!
I just want to express my appreciation to everyone that helps out here. I have learned a lot about KF just by reading posts but have also had many people help me when I have questions about businesses, places to go, places not to go LOL, etc... I've lived here 5 years now and have learned more about KF than any other resource on the internet.
Thanks

Just some help or tips about the area
Hi, I've recently moved here from Rome, GA. Over three thousand miles here and I was just looking for helpful tips for finding income or a way to get on my feet. It's been a rough few months and have gone days without food, I don't have a car(yet). I've been looking hard for jobs but it's hard finding one here. If anyone could help out, give tips or even just talk with me, I'd be happy with that, thank you and happy New Year!

Route help for a move
Hey I'm moving up to Klamath Falls in a few weeks from out east. Google is giving me two routes and I'm trying to figure out which one is best since my truck going to be towing a bigger trailer. I can take a more northern route through Idaho, but it looks like it takes us through some back roads and it says that part of the route might be unpaved. I can also go a bit south through Nevada but it takes us through 180 and a friend said that route can be sketchy in the winter. Which route is better? Any help is appreciated!

Tow hitch install recommendation
I just got an SUV and am looking for a shop that can install a hitch w/wiring for me. I did DIY on my CRV not too long ago but have become ill and can't do it now. Any recommendations on a reliable but not too expensive place to take it to? Thanks.

Klamath Alerts Tragic Accident on Hwy 97 Claims Four Young Lives
Klamath County, Ore 22 Dec 2024- On Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 7:52 a.m., Oregon State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Hwy 97, near milepost 234, in Klamath County.
The preliminary investigation indicated a northbound Toyota 4Runner, operated by Trevor Christian McNally (21) of Klamath Falls, lost control, entered the southbound lane, and struck a southbound Kenworth commercial motor vehicle and trailer, operated by Amandeep Singh (30) of Yuba City (CA), head-on.
The operator of the Toyota (T. McNally) was declared deceased at the scene.
Three passengers in the Toyota, a female juvenile (13) of Klamath Falls, a male juvenile (13) of Klamath Falls, and a femaile juvenile (15) of Germany, were declared deceased at the scene.
A fourth passenger in the Toyota, Wyatt Charles McNally (19) of Klamath Falls, was reportedly injured and transported to an area hospital.
The operator of the Kenworth (Singh) and passenger, Balraj S. Lalli (26) of Yuba City (CA), suffered reported minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
The highway was impacted for approximately 6.5 hours during the on-scene investigation. Road conditions are being considered a primary factor in the collision.
OSP was assisted by Chioquin Fire and ODOT.
The community is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of the victims, many of whom were students in our local schools. During this challenging time, let us keep their families, friends, and classmates in our thoughts and prayers. We have shared links to their GoFundMe accounts for those who wish to support them.

$8.89 for 18 Eggs Price Gouging Spotted at Fred Meyer
I noticed the usual 18 large AA eggs that I buy at Fred Meyer have had a pretty ridiculous price increase to $8.89... The worker stocking the shelves mentioned the excuse is that the bird flu is causing producers to off a bunch of their chickens... Sure, ok.
The last time egg prices were ridiculously inflated where I used to live, Costco and some local farmers market stores kept their egg prices very reasonable, despite the bs the big chain stores were pulling.
Anyone know any stores in Klamath Falls not exploiting the bird flu story to price gouge eggs?

In 1949 my wife's grandfather played for the Klamath Falls Gems. Does anybody have any information about the team? I have tried looking online, but information is scarce.

Tips for making friends?...
I'm 21 years old and have no car or job... or money.. and I'm bad at people skills but I want to make some friends around here and do stuff... I'm honestly afraid of new people due to me putting my foot in my mouth or missing socal qs. As for going outside and meeting people it's not that easy here. Oc&e/canal trail lost items $200 reward.
Hello kfalls, throw away account. I know this is a long shot. I lost a black sinch top bag. It was full of my military challenge coins. I was riding from homedale road (near amberview lane) to summers lane on the canal trail. Then connected to the oc&e trail and rode it to washburn way. I rode the trail a week later but could not find them. I know this is a long shot but I'd be willing to give a cash reward for them. (I rode the trail back in july.) I will be out of town until jan 10th 2025.

Moving to Klamath Falls from Ohio. Any recommendations on where to meet people?
I'm 22 (M). I got an entry level forester position and am moving across the country all the way from the Cleveland area. I like backpacking and want to get into mountaineering. I also play drums an occasionally play at bars if there's a kit. I'm living alone until my GF graduates next summer. Thanks!

Paranormal Klamath?
Hi! I'm interested in learning about the paranormal side of Klamath Falls. I've heard a lot about the Klamath curse, but I don't know very much about it. I also heard stories growing up of people seeing/experiencing weird paranormal things, but I don't remember those stories very well. Any stories, experiences, or even information on where to look for such things would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for help finding an electrician
I have a home in Tennant California that I've sort of recently come into needing to fix. The place is a mess and I don't have any ideas what is wrong but I need electricity as fast as reasonably possible. I don't really know where to even start and this is the biggest town nearby so I'm just sort of reaching out. Thanks for reading, if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations please let me know.

So are there any restaurants or bars, or anyplace open on Thanksgiving?
It's my first Thanksgiving since I moved up here, and I have nothing to do and nobody to see on Thanksgiving, just wanted to feel a little less alone
