Approx. 1 year old, 55lbs The shelter said possibly plott hound, but curious if anyone sees anything else

I remember when i originally posted him someone said he was a “classic terrier” and was very sure of themselves lol. Well here we are. Never would have guessed shih tzu at all. Hes my little shitsky!

Definitely pit. Maybe mixed with boxer or something. Any opinions?

he’s originally rescued from Tennessee and definitely lacks a winter coat, his fur is brown with black speckles which may be hard to see in the photos (obviously also has the white bottoms)

The rescue I got her from when she was ~6 months old just told me she came from Saskatchewan and that she was abandoned 🤔

She’s obsessed with every other animal except for birds (groundhogs are #1 closely followed by cows)

I thought he was a GSD/pit/chihuahua mix, my partner guessed Carolina dog, rescue thought he was a heeler mix, others on the sub mostly guessed pit mix, so this result was surprising!

I'm fostering these two 6.5 week old sweeties. They're from Labrador, so likely Husky mixes, but what else do you see in them (besides polar bear in the little white one 🥹)?

His personality is so gentle and sweet, but his howl and sass is all Husky.
