Question I have a question about Supe biology!
Does anybody know the physical effects that happen to golden boy when he uses his ability's? Weakness is shown in a lot of other characters like: Little Cricket, Cate, Marie, and I just wanna know what his would/would've been? like we've all seen his clothes burn off because of you know, Heat but does it impact him at all? Ty for any and all answers.

Discussion Idea for a Diabolical Season 2
Episode 1-Go, Go Teenage Kix: This short revolves around a lost episode of the once popular Teenage Kix cartoon series that was never aired due to the show being abruptly cancelled after it's third season only to eventually be brought back as some shitty reboot that the original fans hate on like no tomorrow.
Animated in the art style of the 2003 Teen Titans; the show revolved around the adventures of A-Train, Popclaw, Mesmer, Jetstreak and Big Game as they defended Leap City from the forces of evil to eventually become true heroes like the Seven. I haven't come up with the specific story for this one, but the "episode" would end with A-Train and Popclaw having their ship tease moment (They'd sort of be depicted as the Robin/Starfire stand ins) before cutting to the end credits. As the credits roll to the theme song performed by Puffy Amiyumi, we slowly pan out to reveal that the real A-Train was watching the episode the whole time in an abandoned Vought animation studio.
Without saying a word, A-Train rewinds the end credits and stops on the frame where he and Popclaw have their ship moment. Memories slowly come flooding back as he remembers his time with her; including her death at his hands. Even though he doesn't say anything, it's still made clear through his facial expressions that Reggie still feels genuine remorse for what he did to her.
Eventually he gets dragged out of memory lane after hearing the sound of police sirens and a patrolling helicopter outside as he curses under his breath and quickly leaves the studio with his trademark speed; fading to black and ending the episode for real this time.

Season 2 My List of Predictions/theories for Gen V Season 2.
Even though we don’t have the trailer, I’m guessing some of this stuff here. Tell me what you think and share whatever theories you’ve got!
Theories about Andre Anderson’s death: We’ll get an explanation of Andre Anderson’s death—the real story—while he’s locked up in a Vought cell along with Marie, Emma, and Jordan. His death will be offscreen. Andre dies during a Vought experiment, while the others survive. Vought hides the truth and spreads a fake story claiming Andre committed suicide in his cell. Polarity doesn’t buy Vought’s lies and starts investigating. He asks Marie for help. Gen V Season 2 will have Andre’s death as a central mystery, just like Luke’s death was in Season 1.
Homelander and Sister Sage want to use Godolkin University to build the ranks of their supe army: Homelander and Sister Sage are training students to become killers. They’ll try to force Marie, Jordan, and Emma to join them. Rufus and other students will side with Homelander, supporting supe supremacy. Even new Gen V cast members will have to pick sides. A Vought official, The Deep, or Dean Cipher might act as enforcers to make sure GodU falls in line, punishing those who refuse.
Dean Cipher is evil: Dean Cipher is a new character in the Gen V cast and is portrayed by Hamish Linklater. he’s a great actor, I love his acting in Midnight Mass. Okay I believe the new character Dean Cipher supports supe supremacy. Based on his Supe name I’m assuming he might have super intelligence or mind-based powers. He’s a supe with a hidden agenda that even Vought doesn’t know about—possibly experimenting on students under his own accord or for someone else. He’ll likely be a supe-supremacist version of Shetty. I think he got the job because he’s related to Godolkin’s founder. We might explore more of GodU’s past and its founding. Back in Season 1, Shetty said “This school is a front. Thomas Godolkin was a behavioral scientist. He built this place to figure out what makes Supes tick, their weaknesses, how to control them.” I’m sorry, I’m just desperate for some GodU Lore, I really wanna learn more the shady origins of Godolkin University with its founder.
We will see humans getting discriminated against by Supes on campus: We’ll see humans discriminated against by supes on campus. There’ll be slurs for humans and potential laws to oppress them, created by Homelander and his puppet president. This theme could carry over into The Boys Season 5. Remember that leaked set photo from Season 5 with the “Freedom Concentration Camp” They’re drawing parallels to Nazi Germany. Humans at GodU might have to wear badges declaring their status and use separate entrances. Supes will dominate the social hierarchy, with humans at the bottom.
Marie and Jordan get romantic moments: Marie gets equal time with male Jordan and female Jordan. We get to learn about their relationship. We get to experience the beginning stages of their relationship going on a first date. Their love language, how they handle problems and communicate with each other.
Jordan and Emma are the classic friend duo we need: Jordan and Emma will develop a hilarious sibling dynamic. Jordan’s sarcasm will pair perfectly with Emma’s funny jokes. Marie might pretend to be annoyed but secretly enjoys it. Jordan would be the serious older sibling figure, while Emma brings younger child energy funny figure.
Cate continues her villain arc and dies: Cate is back to being a terrible person again. Cate is still apart of Homelander’s army, supporting Supe Supremacy. I bet Cate will get caught doing something terrible by Marie, Jordan, and Emma. She’ll cry, beg for forgiveness, and guilt-trip them—only to betray them again. Cate will torture innocent people, ruin relationships, Messing with people’s memories. and commit even more heinous acts. Overall Cate continues being a pure evil psychopath. Realistically, Cate’s death will come at the hands of Marie, Sam, or both. I’ll be cheering when Cate dies, I will throw a fucking parade.
Sam gets a redemption arc: We will see Cate pushing Sam to do things he doesn’t want to do, and Sam ends up remembering everything all at once. Sam snaps and kills Cate because she took advantage of his mental state, he has schizophrenia. Sam will slowly earn the trust of Jordan, Marie and Emma. We might even see an emotional reunion between Sam and his parents.
Sam and Emma working on their relationship: Sam and Emma will slowly rebuild their relationship, taking time to recover from their trauma. They’ll heal together and find happiness again.
The Gen V kids will team up with The Boys for the final season: Marie, Jordan, and Emma will join forces with The Boys to fight against Homelander’s army. Starlight will recruit them. Sam has a 50/50 chance of joining, depending on whether he redeems himself.

Theory What if season 2 ends on the cliffhanger of Butcher killing students of Goldokin….
galleryBy the time season 2 starts, it’ll have been several months since the end of the Boys season 4, which means that Butcher could have killed enough of supes by then. What if the season 2 ends on the note that Butcher has made his way to Goldokin (which is under Homelander’s new authority) to massacre students, setting up how much of threat he’ll be..

Question Can Golden Boy Stop Her?
galleryLuke was stated the most powerful of Gen V excluding Sam.
His heat caps at 3, 958 Celsius. Sam describes his body as indestructible.
Can his raw power overcome Vicky’s experience and hax?

News Physical release confirmed! (UK at least)
galleryCan't speak to other countries but I'd assume that it's confirmed. I hate that release date though. Why would they make us wait another year? I'd buy it now if they let us lol.

Question What two characters do you want to see fight in the upcoming future (and who do you think would win)? I’ll go first…
galleryI think it would be lowkey be entertaining to see Butcher use his tentacles while Marie uses her blood ropes to fight back and restrict his. Lowkey manifesting this for the Boys season 5🤞.

Question With Starlight’s help can they take HIM down?
galleryWe’ve seen Annie’s power-up towards the end of S4. Do you think she packs enough fire-power to damage Sam even considering his insane invulnerability?
Annie’s blinding hax+Jordan skill+Andre magnetism+Marie blood manipulation is a decent lineup.
With her help do you think the Gen V team can take down Sam without the help of Anti-Supe tasers?

Theory Theory: Will season 5 set up Cate Dunlap as the solution to removing Homelander’s need for love/humanity?
galleryThe Boys 4x4 established Homelander’s need for love was engineered by a group of professionals so he would be obedient to Vought. We know Cate has done something similar to Sam removing his sense of emotion/humanity in the genv finale. With Cate on his side and expressing her loyalty to him, will he be desperate enough to turn to her to finally strip his humanity? Will season 5 give us scariest version of Homelander yet?

Theory Will Cate and Sam be in the seven by the end of Season 2?
galleryWith A train being on the run, the only remaining members of the seven are Homelander, Black Noir, Sage, Deep and Firecracker, which leaves two spots open. We already know that Cate and Sam are in the inner circle (since them and Tek Knight were the only other supes that witnessed Cameron Coleman’s death). So will part of their arc in season 2 consist of them being finally put in the seven (and maybe having mixed feelings about it)?
The second pic on the slideshow was a pic taken during filming for season 2, which shows A trains statue taken off with the words “ traitor” which means the public by then will know he is no longer in the seven and may be actively working against them.

Discussion What do you think cate dunlap superhero name would be if she joined the seven ? I personally think it should be mindgirl

Theory With Homelander’s arc coming to an end, (leaving room for “the new powerful supe”), will Marie Moreau take that spot? Will the universe set her up to be Villain or new Antagonist?
And also what other major directions can you see for other Gen-V characters (since it has been said that Gen-V will most likely continue after the Boys end) ? Will these characters be set up as major faces for the franchise?

Question Is gen v s2 teaser coming out in december like the last season?
r/GenV • u/ZealousidealStart303 • Dec 10 '24
Discussion This Spin on the event is so dumb when you think about it
So we all know what happened at the end of the Gen-V, but since the finale final moments happened so quickly, I guess we didn’t get to dissect this moment and how it just doesn’t make sense from a media perspective.
Obviously we know Homelander wanted Sam and Cate put in the limelight so he can prop them up as heroes and have them on his team because of their initiative and shared views. But from a student who attended Goldokin this whole thing probably is probably so stupid.
Marie, a bloodbender, Jordan and Andre who were in the top 3 for a while (with golden boy), and Emma, who everyone knows can grow to enormous heights (because she went viral on TikTok 1x5) were beaten by Cate Dunlap and Sam.
Obviously Sam is the bigger contender but then again giving him the spotlight in itself is an issue because he didn’t even attend Goldokin, most people didn’t even know he was still alive lol. So putting him in the media brings up questions about the woods and the Vought conspiracy. All things Homelander wouldn’t want to show up because he was still the head of the company after making sure Edgar stepped down.
So I just wonder what the general campus opinion will be on the matter. Obviously we’ll have people feed into it, but I do hope we do see a large majority of students call out the bullshit on it all because it really was not thought out idea on Homelander’s part.

Question When is Gen v season 2 teaser coming out? I thought it was this weekend.
r/GenV • u/shrinkingviolents • Dec 08 '24
Late to the party but obsessed with the show!
I love all the characters but Marie and Jordan are my bias, like individually and together as well.
But Jordan - what a brilliant character they created! I love everything about them. I love the actors. I love the character growth in the first season, I love their powers.
I especially love the hair!!! Like how it was all short and slick and military at the start and then the more they accepted themselves (and started falling for Marie) the more wild and curly it became. What an amazing detail!
And Marie, she had my heart from the first scene. Like getting your period and killing your parents, holy hell…
I loved Chance since Chilling Adventures, so it broke my heart when he passed… watching him now in Gen V was both sad and beautiful.
Anyway, I know y’all are probably sick of all the posts but I’ve spent the past 2 days on youtube watching vids and I needed to fangirl a bit. :D

Discussion Gaston (Homelander edition)
Try coming up with lyrics for a Gaston parody where Homelander is the one singing it.
Casting
Homelander=Gaston Firecracker=Lafeou The Deep, Sister Sage, Cate=Backup vocalists
