Frugal Engagement Rings 🏆 Buy It For Life
I'm going to propose to my girlfriend. I'm thinking about something in the $1000-$1500 range.
How can I find an engagement ring at a good price and not get ripped off?
EDIT: I'm just going through all the responses now, and just wanted to say thank you so much for all the input I really appreciate it!!

Definitely talk to her first!
She may prefer a different gem, vintage rings, or something more personal and unique from Etsy.
Personally, I would rather have a stone that isn't a diamond vs. something that is faux fancy, like a Walmart ring that is all setting, or 4 tiny diamonds pushed together to look like one big one.
I had a modest engagement ring that was very pretty! However, over time, the prongs kept getting bent, and I almost lost my diamond once. I don't even wear it anymore.
