I'm going to propose to my girlfriend. I'm thinking about something in the $1000-$1500 range.

How can I find an engagement ring at a good price and not get ripped off?

My husband and I got engaged on our 5th anniversary - so we thought it'd be special to use an "anniversary" ring as my engagement ring. Well, that was a GREAT choice bc you take the word engagement out and the price dropped by 50%.
