Luckily most new cars automatically adjust to turn on headlights when needed. Also in the future cars won’t have “high beams” as we know them. Instead the cars will be able to detect oncoming traffic and dim the headlights automatically it’s a feature some 2023 cars will have and probably over the course of a few years will become common like automatic headlights.
