Looking for breakfast sandwich hidden gems Food

Are there any local spots to grab a cheap, delicious breakfast sandwich? A local corner store, a 24hr rest stop, a coffee shop, maybe even a ma and pop gas station?

  • Looking for something made in house, not a microwaved chain gas station sandwich.*

I used to live by Barry's. Their breakfast sandwiches are so good, so filling, and affordable.

The bacon tomato cream cheese quiche are so good, so are the onion bialys

Nothing hidden about the place with the line that wraps around the building.

I’ve lived in Eugene for 16 years now - only known about Barry’s for the last 5-6. Glad I know now, atleast.

Dang they had two locations for a very long time. I'm surprised to hear this.

It's something you'd "know about" if you live in South Eugene, or if you read online "Best of" lists, but locations don't get more hidden in plain sight than the businesses along 28th and Oak St. where Barry's is located. Along with Long's Meat, these businesses are tucked away in a residential neighborhood.

When I think of Barry's, I still think of his spot that he leased from his buddy Sy Zeer next to Sy's Pizza on campus, but that was back in the 90's and the early 2000's.
