People can get food stamps or various other food assistance programs EASILY. This is not a red state work or starve city - Dont kid yourself.

None of those things were invented in my head - those are things Ive personally had to deal with living downtown for two years.

Youve only been here two years and youre already trying deny people their basic human needs because you saw poop outside.

Youre making some real stupid assumptions across the board.

You cannot remove the major working option where a large, increasing number of people get a fundemental basic need met in our town - for ANY reason that isn't a fundemental basic human need.

What you're describing are other symptoms of homelessness. Your solution is to take away their food.

That is fucked up, immoral, and your reasons are SO stupid.

Please quote me, anywhere, saying ANYTHING of the sort.

Otherwise - eat a deep fried genital shaped pastry.

This is a post about how the city removed tbe breakfast brigade's permit for feeding the homeless in WJP based on a complaint.

You said, "i wish I could have empathy" ( for the people who want to eat ) You put suffer in lil' 'yeah right' quotes. And your reasons why you dont have empathy (/dont support the cause for the permit which allows people to legally feed people there) Was a bunch of common homelessness symptoms that you had to witness for the two years that youve lived downtown.

That pastry does interest me though.

Okay thats not THE dumbest take on relative context Ive seen - but you took it too far.

I want the homeless population as a whole to receive the help they desperately need.

I have less empathy than I would like to due to the criminal element that receives WAY too much leeway in this city.

Its insane how much money is spent on useless programs and cleanup without confronting both sides of the issue.

I can live with this opinion. but they need to have this option, you cant throw more obstacles in front of people eating and think youre confronting a different side. First: people have a food option - second: we try to fix all the issues.
