Best breakfast sandwich in Eugene?

I’m the spirit of the “best of” posts today, I’d love to know your favorite spot to get a breakfast sandwich in town.

Check out Coffee Planet Roasters…I LOVE their breakfast sandwich, especially on the in house biscuit. Honestly, I have driven to west Eugene just for this…

Trying out now! I’m very excited about the chocolate croissant.

Update: Shoot, this place was surprisingly expensive. I got a hot black tea (nothing added in), a chocolate croissant, and a breakfast sandwich and it was $20.00.

Croissant was tasty.

Sandwich took almost 25 min to go and then had almost nothing in it. I hoped to get it with the biscuit but they were gone by the time I got there at 9am.

I kind of feel ripped off that the plain sandwich with no side was $11. It had a plain bagel, no butter or anything, one small egg (maybe grade A size), and it must’ve been a sprinkle of cheese-certainly not a full slice or even a half slice. It did have 2 thick cut strips of bacon on it but they was cooked to a crumble. No sign of any seasoning on the egg (salt or pepper). Sort of felt like Highway robbery on that sandwich. Skimpy and bland.

While I was waiting I did see a few people get the breakfast burrito and someone got it with fries and they looked incredible each time.

I’d go back to try that burrito and more of their Pasteur selection, but definitely not the breakfast sandwich ever again. I can’t remember ever being that underwhelmed at what I got vs the price.

Tea: expensive, but 👍🏻 Croissant: yum 👍🏻👍🏻 Breakfast sandwich: an expensive flop 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Atmosphere: 👍🏻👍🏻
