[CONFLICT]Orsinium Marches South

"Today, my Orc brethren, we ride south to Hammerfell! To war we ride, in the name of Orsinium! We shall conquer their land in the name of the Orc people, as is our right! To war, my People, to war we go!"

Gortwog sat mounted on a large steed, overlooking his bannermen. They all stood in long lines, their Orcish armor giving off a dull sheen in the sunlight. An Orc at his side raised a horn, and gave a loud call. Drums began to beat a steady rhythm, and the army began it's slow march.

Battle Plans

As the Dominion launches their attack from the south, Orsinium will begin it's assualt in the north. An army of 63,000 Orsimer march from Orsinium. They are headed south into Hammerfell, where they will first siege and assault the Duchy of Dragonstar. The Army will split into two, with one army march from the south-east of Orsinium, and the other marching from the south-west. The two armies will converge on either side of the city(or any responding army) and begin their assault.

From there, the armies will March south and east into Bangkorai to occupy the province under the Orsimer banner.

The remaining 37,000 troops in Orsinium will begin to take up fortified positions in the city and surrounding forts in case of a counter attack.

The enraged Orsimer threw themselves into the fray, slaughtering the Yokudans with reckless abandon. For each Orc that fell, two more took his place. They climbed over each other in the rage, scrambling to get in the city. Angered at those climbing over them, many Orcs began to fight each other. Eventually, they are able to defeat the Dragonstar infantry at the gate, and begin to push further into the city.

Meanwhile, the Orsimer cavalry are chased down by the superior (in numbers and training) horsemen of Dragonstar.

Current numbers:

Orsimer: 30,000 infantry; 5,500 cavalry; 2,000 battlemages

Dragonstar: 40,000 infantry; 7,500 cavalry; 1,000 battlemages

A loud roar came from Gortwog as his people pushed further into the city. "Slaughter them! Kill them all!" Gortwog's Scourge came crashing down on a guard, killing him instantly. He held the mace high above his head, "Malacath! Send me your servants so that I may conquer in your name!"

A loud screech defeaned the defender's around Gortwog as Daedra tore their way into our realm. Now that the army was inside the walls, the tides would turn.

Outside the walls, the Orcish cavalry began their run back towards the main army and the awaiting battle mages. A wall of fire rose to meet the charging enemy cavalry, while the Orcish cavalry leapt from their horses and took the fight to foot. Swing their blades in wide arcs, they cut the horses from underneath any cavalrymen that made it through the wall of fire. Portals to Oblivion began to tear into this realm, and a wave of Daedra joined the Orcish cavalry. Balls of ice and fire rained from the sky, pelting the lands and enemy cavalry behind the mighty wall of fire.

"Take to the walls, Orcs! Then we kill them at our leisure!" A loud roar was his response. Orcish arrows began to fly, covering the Orsimer warriors that rose to the challenge of taking the wall. As they reached the top, the Orcs didn't fight the archers that held the wall; they charged into them, knocking them from the wall and into the waiting hordes below. Screams of soldiers being torn limb from limb was drowned out by the rage of the attacking Orcs.

The Yokudan cavalry leapt from their horses and camels, matching the Orsimer. They charged headlong into the Orcs, spears out. The battlemages are met by gouts of flame and spikes of ice from the walls. The treacherous climb was deadly, but worth it. A few dozen Orcs top the wall, and begin shoving archers down. Many of the Orcs fall with them, as charging atop a wall isn't exactly safe. Inside the city, the Orsimer infantry are confused, as they meet no resistance. Charging through the streets, they don't realize the ploy until it's too late. Tens of thousands of infantry are trapped in an unfamiliar city, surrounded by enemies. The Yokudans come out of their hiding spots and engage the Orcs.

Current number:

Orsimer: 15,000 infantry; 1,500 battlemages

Dragonstar: 25,000 infantry; 800 battlemages

The Orcs roared in blood lust and began to kill the defenders as they floundered from their hiding spots. Orcish archers and battlemages took positions on the walls, raining down flaming arrows and fire spells on the buildings of the defenders, burning them before they can fully reveal themselves.

The infantry began to pull back to the walls, removing themselves from the hail, defending the walls and preventing the enemy soldiers from fleeing. Using debris, they construct basic fortifications around key exit points in the city, then join the wall archers in burning the city around the defenders.

[Summoning Daedra is fine, but opening Oblivion gates and such is a bit OP. You are able to summon 1,000 Dremora to bolster your ranks. And not all the people are hidden. Most just stay near the wall until the Orc center in the city.]

The Orsimer are able to turn the tide as the Dremora pour into the city. The elite Daedra execute the Yokudans, but disapparate when they succeed in their mission. The invaders are finally able to stay atop the wall, and slaughter the archers. The battle draws to a close when the Bangkorai infantry retreat to assist the fight against the Dominion.

Dragonstar: 10,000 infantry (returned to Bangkorai), 0 cavalry, 0 battlemages
