No native-german but living here - the herbs and spices are named in english - the fridge is a chaotic mess, germans would lose their mind having it - some of the sauces would Melt germans from inside + I guess some of the brands are sold in international stores (Asia/Africa/....) and If you didn't know where, you wouldn't know IT exists...

I also would say Asia, the writing on the spice-caps seems feminine. But because of the methi and methi-seeds plus the english names, I tend to say India because I guess people from Indonesia etc would write the names in their writing.

German male but I’ll take the handwriting comment as a compliment, really tried hard so it doesn’t look like my typical crappy handwriting. Most of the recipes I use are English so I just use that as my standard cooking language.

Thankfully we have great asian supermarkets here so sourcing the good stuff isn’t much of an issue
