My opinion on Elon has done a complete 180 in the past two days. It's one thing to post an opinion that I disagree with, but censoring dissenting opinions while claiming to be a free speech absolutist is vile hypocrisy. Absolutely pathetic.

Ultimately it's Trump's responsibility to listen to his supporters and not his donors. Hopefully he's not a failure like almost every other politician. I'm worried though, because in the past he was heavily influenced by the people around him.

There was some attention paid to the fact that Laura Loomer was on a flight with him a couple months ago. So, in this case, this seems like he'll be hearing both sides of the argument, and will have to make up his own mind. He did add restrictions to H-1Bs in his first term.

Laura Loomer is being treated fairly. She's a psychopath that has burned every bridge she ever crossed. Twitter deranks her account because most sane voices on the site block or mute her. It's an anti-spamming algorithm. She could more accurately be described as a Trump sycophant who had a brief spike of attention between November 2020 and January 2021.

She's certainly being treated fairly by Trump, who had several appearances with her this year as his guest, and also had her fly on his plane with him. Supposedly, she would've been officially on his campaign, if RINOs around him hadn't objected. I have yet to see anything from Loomer that is outside of the norm of regular, mainstream conservatism. All of the objections to her seem to be coming from RINOs and liberals. Even the NPR article I link above can't come up with anything damning to say about her. It properly quotes her disputing some of the false claims that have been made about her, and her defenses are completely credible.

Yep, he replied with a laughing remark to a tweet showing a tweet from Laura Loomer which seemed to have a fake "community note" attached, that accused her of being racist against Indians. What a clown...Elon, that is.
