New target bow

Hi everyone. I’m currently shooting a PSE perform X. I’m getting extremely good results. But I’m not feeling completely satisfied by the bow so I’m looking to buy a new Concept X or a Mathew Title. Both this bows have pros and cons based on my needs, I’m trying to ask you a feedback from shooters with experience behind this two bows to understand how is the experience after the first month. In particular I’m interested in

Feedback from the shot Forgiveness Customisation Adaptability to the shooter

Personally what I’m struggling is the weight of the bow cause I’d like to increase my shooting time And the missing of a feedback from the bow

Thanks everyone for help

First upgrade

Got a new Species XT RTH for Christmas, and bought my first upgrade! TR Hitman 12” stab. I thought 12” was going to look weird but I love it! I want to get a sight next. Any recommendations under $200?

Should I be concerned?

I just noticed that the string is sitting crooked on the idler wheel. I haven’t noticed any weird sounds or feelings while shooting. Should I take it into the pro shop and have them take a look? Sorry for the crappy quality photo. If it matters, it’s a Matthews Z70 Single Cam.

Thank you!

33” bow for beginner

Looking to get into target shooting, maybe hunting. I went to my local archery shop and got measured. I’m 6ft3 with a 31.5” arm span, they recommend a 33” bow. But then proceeded to try and sell me a $1,100 Mathews Lift 33 plus all the extra things to go with that. But as someone just getting into this hobby, I’m not really looking to jump in the deep end just yet. Is there a cheaper option for a 33” under $1,000 for a full setup? Thanks

Received this from Canada archery online, unsure of the condition of the string. Brand new to archery, very excited about it, but would love some feedback

My father bought me this bow a long time ago. What do I have?

Greetings all,

Recently decided I'd like to get back into archery with the eventually goal of bow hunting. My father bought me this bow when I was in high school probably like fifteen years ago. It's been sitting and hasn't been shot for at least 5+ years now. I've been trying to do some research into bows because unfortunately I know next to nothing about them. I suspect though that this bow is more a youth bow because its a bit smaller than some of the other bows I've seen and the draw weight is smaller too. Not really sure what I have so any and all advice would be great thanks.

Youth Target Bows

My son is into competition archery, currently using my old Diamond hunting bow (due to its draw length being able to adjust down to 20").

Are there any target bows out there that have draw lengths adjustable down to the 20" range?

Diamond edge max suddenly shooting 12"right

I've been shooting my bow regularly for a few months bow and all of the sudden it's started shooting 12-14" right. I've had to adjust my sight as far as it will go and it's still a little off. I've checked for loose bolts. I've checked center shot, left and right is good but up down needs to be way point down in order for this thing to paper tune. It's making good holes on paper, I'm not sure what else to check.

Uphill down hill shots

I've noticed when shooting with elevation i have some major left to right variance (mostly down hill shots) is there a reason for that other than what is probably bad form? I'm only a few months into my first bow BTW.

12 yo unused set of string and cables still usable?

Hi, I have a 12 year old set of draw string and 4 cables (VaporTrail) that I would like to replace the 20 yo set on the bow with. Can the unused set still be used or is it too old? The unused set was stored dry and dark and is still inside the original bags, unopened, and isn't creased.

EDIT: The unused set was bought for the bow but never installed.

Bow advice

Hello Looking to buy my first compound bow, but need some advice. Don't have any bow shops/clubs nearby, so I'm trying to all my research online😂

Store selections is somewhat limited here (compared to other countries), and I'm on a budget🙂

The bow will be used for target practice, hobby and maybe hunting down the line (when/if it gets legal). Mostly into pistol and long range shooting, so this will be a new experience.

I'm looking at these bows, and have been researching them all over reddit/YouTube/web for the past month.

Got any advice on which of these that is the most bang for the bucks, decent quality?

-PSE stinger atk -Bear legend XR 2023 -PSE drive NXT -Diamond edge max

A little about me: Past 40 years Normally buildt Ex-military About 1.70cm high

Best regards from north of Scandinavia 😎

Noob help!

Hello everyone, I was just given an older 2nd hand compound bow as my first bow, it's a PSE team fitzgerald compound bow, I know it's one of PSE's older/cheaper models and it needs quite a bit of updates (like cables, bowstring, peep sight, d-loop) my question is, is it worth spending all that money on it? Or am I better off just buying a newer one in better condition?? Thanks for the help!

Does anyone know of a website that allows full customization of a compound bow? And I mean fully customized from color of the riser, cams, strings.. everything..

Thanks you in advance

What makes a good stabilizer?

I'm a trad shooter just getting into Compound & wondering what qualities of a stabilizer make one better than another. I'm a big fan of aesthetics and like the look of more unique stabilizers but I'm still a function-over-form guy.

30yo wanting a first bow

I would like a bow to start hunting. I really like the idea of the diamond edge xt. It seems like an amazing deal and good for a beginner. Are there other options that I'm overlooking that are comparable?
