Obama saying goodbye to his pet drone is incredibly mild too.

Just the basic idea that he's got a pet drone is definitely a lot spicier than anything in the Babylon Bee links you posted. Connecting Obama with wars is not the same thing as saying Trump is giving his supporters a border wall by building a hotel. It's just goofy, not actual criticism.

Trump was literally silenced from Twitter because of his narrative that this article was written around.

If you can't see that they're both partisan when the Onion's most famous article of all time is them advocating gun control, then it's because you're just partisan.

There's an obvious difference between having opinions - that one can disagree with - and being partisan.

And in this case we're talking about opinions that clearly favor one side over another - which you have.

Yes? That's what I said.

"we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence" is quite different from talking about being reinstated.

And in this case we're talking about opinions that clearly favor one side over another - which you have.

And that would be? I mean, do you have any examples of the Onion positioning themselves in partisan party wars?

No one would read the Onion article and believe Obama has a pet drone - a "hunter-killer" that is "flying off toward a Yemeni tribal wedding" - would sound cute.

I had already figured out that this was the problem, but thanks for the confirmation.

I didn't see it. Is it relevant? Only to the point that I don't take a stance between Democrats and Republicans because I don't agree with any of them. But in this case it's quite irrelevant, I've been reading the Onion for a long time, I could be living on Mars and it wouldn't change my opinion.
