Hardware Advice L3 cache vs higher ghz for performance?
Im wondering if anyone knows how much of improvement to the game performance there is if you have a cpu with a higher l3 cache vs a higher ghz speed, because im comparing three and im curious well what could provide a bigger boost?
Ryzen 5800x3d 8 core 16 thread 3.4ghz up to 4.5ghz 96mb l3
Ryzen 7 7700x 8 core 16 thread 4.5ghz up to 5.4ghz 32mb l3
Ryzen 9 5900x 12 core 24 thread 3.7ghz up to 4.8ghz 64mb l3
These would be paired with a rx 7800xt 16gb gpu, asrock b450m steel legend motherboard.
And ive heard dont upgrade your pc for the game but for this particular case that doesnt apply since cities skylines 2 is what im running 97% of the time.
That being said any input is very much appreciated please and thank you.

Discussion How do you personally plan your districts?
As a new player to CS1, I see a lot of conflicting advice online. Some people like to place their districts separately, like a big industrial block over here, commercial over there, etc. however, I’ve seen people do it more organically, with things mixed together a little more (while still keeping industrial buffered from residential, etc). How do you do it, and what do you think is more efficient?

Discussion Realistic American/European CS1 youtube series recs?
I've watched all of City Planner Plays series and am rewatching Clearwater County. Does anyone know of a good youtube series of a U.S Build that is a realistic/auto oriented american style (not satire)? On the contrary, does anyone know any truly European builds (not just like normal roads and european zoning), like the infrastructurist build of the small fjord town in Cs2? Thanks!

Sharing a City Before and after: The main highway exit for my city centre
galleryThe busiest highway exit in my city, it goes straight into the densest areas. It got an upgrade today, allowing traffic to pass through and conflict less whilst also giving more room for buildings and more accessibly between districts (even if it is under an elevated road)

Help & Support (PC) Low Land Value (CS1)
I recently loaded up a save for the first time in about 6 months. When I left the save everything was running great with a population of about 170,000. However, when I recently opened the save I noticed that there were some random large swaths of residential buildings complaining about low land value. This was definitely not an issue before. I let the game run for about 30 minutes and all of the buildings became abandoned.
Since I last played about 6 months ago I have installed the plazas and promenades, financial districts, and hotels and retreats DLCs so I’m wondering if those might have caused some issues. I tried disabling the DLCs but the land value problem still continued.
Anyone have this issue or know of a solution?

Help & Support (PC) Game is stuck! No demand for anything.
I am stuck and unsure of what to do. Cim Census is saying there's ~350 homeless folk but I am getting no demand and I can't do anything for my city. This is my first 40 hours playing Cities II, have played 200 hours on Cities and have never had this issue before. I've heard it's homelessness bug but there was a recent bug fix for it? Any ideas? What should I do?

Help & Support (Console) Questions relating to Money + Expansion
This topic may have been covered in some similar form, however:
Suppose I build out a city to like 30-40k population.
Can I just ignore the RCI meters, stop expanding the city, and just have a money reserve fluctuating around $X (whatever the amount is)? — If I spend a chunk of money (on detailing, a new park, transit, etc.) will the money reserve eventually go back up to $X?
I would think in a I guess “well balanced” city, it would be possible to just stagnate and detail infinitely, but you all may have a better understanding of the game’s mechanics!
