Insurrection, not treason. Treason requires a foreign adversary (Russia being the obvious candidate) and the traitor has to knowingly be working on behalf of, for the benefit of, the adversary.

Really the only suspects for literal treason charges so far are the Trumps (including Jared), Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, Alex Jones, and I’ll put $20 on Charlie Kirk being found to be knowingly funded by Russians.

All those Republicans who visited Putin on July 4, 2018 could reasonably be suspected of treason.

But not some asshole Trumpanzee. They’re not in the loop, and they’re not getting paid, generally they’re paying.
