It’s mind-blowing how these are the adults that claim not be Triggered or that they’re oh-so tough, unlike all the oversensitive ~snowflakes~

I can’t imagine being so angry/self-righteous that I’d smear shit on the wall and think ‘this is necessary for the good and safety of my country. I’ve done a brave and rational thing here today. What a historic moment :)’

But man what I wouldn’t give to know whose it was/how they got it. One day someone’s picture will be in a school history book with a caption about how ppl were rubbing human shit on the wall.

Hell imagine being a republican congressman and hearing that your voters did that. That alone would make me either resign or reevaluate my life

Maybe I'm just old and cynical, but I think that if it had been BLM or any leftward leaning group who had defecated in the Capitol forensic teams would have swept the area within hours and the stool samples' DNA would have been matched with suspects' DNA within days. I have to say though that I think that the days when Republican Congress people could indulge in any degree of self-reflection without succumbing to terminal regurgitation are long past. I can't even believe that they have mirrors in their houses.

I have a feeling with all the arrests, they’ll be cross-referencing the DNA for the feces smearers. One day it may be entered into a public court record where a defendant will be identified as the MAGA warrior that smeared their own feces on the wall. Hell, they may even say that someone else shit too just to plea for a lesser sentence.

Oof absolutely. Part of me suspects/hopes that one day it’ll be revealed that at least some of it came from an elected official—I don’t care how or why.

I can’t even describe how cosmically perfect that would be. No artist/writer could capture the chaos of the GOP better.

Who the fuck smears poo. I've considered myself a long time conservative but the whole republican party can go fuck itself at the moment(since 2008 really and well let's just be real dumbass fucking Reagan). I just want IKE to come back from the grave and rain sorry hell on the current republican party. Sorry about that ra

Not joking- smearing your own fecal material is one of the criteria used to evaluate someone as clinically disturbed with various serious illnesses like extreme schizophrenia.

Don’t be sorry, I love a good rant lol.

Honestly I hate to sound like I’m bragging but even as a kid post-9/11, I didn’t know anything about politics but I could tell baaad things were coming with Bush and they’ve only gotten worse.

I was only 10 in 2003 and I had some undiagnosed stuff that had me checked out most of the time. Situational awareness? Didn’t know her.

But the sudden explosion of ‘support our troops’ bumper stickers and being forced to sing ‘proud to be an American,’ with all the samples of kids saying ‘I love you daddy :3’ to their military dads—it was all REALLY WEIRD and REALLY NOTICEABLE. I swear I could die from dementia in 60 years and that chorus will be my last words because we had to sing it so much and it was constantly on the radio.

I don’t know if Fox News or conservative radio has always been like that but I do remember my mom being really concerned with the growing popularity of rabid idiots like Rush Limbaugh. And hearing the kinds of things he said, I just wondered why anybody would find anger entertaining or fulfilling.

I'm a little bit older then you I was 16 on 9 /11 and watching the towers fall and then it seemed like everything changed so quick. The republican party started getting really bad during Clinton and the rise of political talk ready was going on but mad 9/11 sent it into overtime. Then the brainwashing with all the patriot shit and they just lied over and over again to get us into fucking Iraq. I think it was then they realized that it just didn't matter what they did anymore anything goes American citizen will just forget. I think the biggest problem is people want someone to be angry with for their only failings and its super fucking easy to dehumanize people I guess. I can't honestly wrap my mind around hatred for people you don't know and have never done anything to you or anybody(and I'm a decently hateful person ). Thanks for talking dude sometimes I don't dont feel like I can talk to anybody because my political views don't really align very well.

No prob! I don’t know much about politics or anything tbh, but i like hearing from ppl (even if I don’t fully grasp it). i guess I’d generally be considered a leftist but tbh my philosophy is basically just this tweet.

As kids we’re taught to share and follow ~the golden rule~ and then as adults we’re told that kindness=Communism™️. I’m so tired of ~patriotism~ of any sort. For me it only applies to who I cheer for at the olympics, and even that can change.
