So far, I saw snippets. Today I watched the song. She is fab and lot of potential and she is he next big thing undoubtedly. I am digusted at the lyrics - the lyrics . Let me quote - Chhori Ko Ghar Se Utthaye Ke Zabardasti Na Nachaye Ke Bada Hi Aasan Hai Piya Aankhen Sekkna Haayy. Second - she is hyper sexualised, i hate that Bollywood trope chikki Chameli style - young girl dancing around men trying to grab. It's so triggering. I really thought Raveena is a woke mom and she would do better for her daughter. I am so disappointed.

It’s good to see some support from her.

Removal or replacement from projects is common, but saying Tripti lacks purity in demeanour and blaming her “boldness” is just humiliation and unfair for her.

I know this fact has always been known but considering the recent events, it has truly unleashed a very sad cycle happening in Bollywood.

1) Tripti Dimri - Shot to overnight, crazy fame, could have handled it better but she got used by directors who only wanted to put her in raunchy af costumes and make her dance, capitalising on her sexuality from Animal scene. Her low cleavage blouses in BB3 and shiny, cheap, polyester tops in Bad Newz with the same low cut. Plus that horrific belly shake dance step that got her negative publicity. And again a movie with a tharki angle - Vicky Vidya. She might have not had options, just did anything to keep her “15 minute fame” flame burning for as long as she could. That’s what this industry asks from you. It’s so hard to survive out there.

But there’s Sanya, Wamiqa, Pratibha who didn’t fall for this hyper sexualised route and yet they are not getting enough work. So it’s like hell from both sides. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. This is exactly where nepos get the advantage.

2) Rasha Thadani - Despite being the daughter of such a huge distributor in the movie industry, they STILL had to make their daughter do a cheap ass, vulgar item song, dancing amongst sleazy men. She is just 20! They wanted to get her that kind of attention, the “shock” from audience. But at what cost?? This further proves that bollywood still considers “showing extreme hyper sexuality of young women” as the most effective formula to capitalise, and this kind of behaviour in 2025.

Adding further, Sreeleela shot to instant fame from that horrible sounding Kissk song, that little dance sequence of her with Allu Arjun in the song, appalled at wtf it was.

Where the hell are we headed as a film industry? This is like evolving backwards for easy money. Scapegoats turn out to be the young, debuting actresses only who are just “objects”. They might earn a lot, but how does it feel like - selling their soul to the devil for meagre work here and there and fighting ugly PR scandals, then thinking of these things when they sit in silence at their homes. Imagining it feels very empty, like a life devoid of any essence. Truly one needs to be very thick skinned and strong minded here.

Just saw many articles yesterday that said Tripti is removed because of her bold image. And then the same day filmfare posted about Sharvari being finalized for Aashiqui movie. Now the thing is Aashiqui is shelved so no point of articles coming on that. I think with regards to Basu movie, female leads articles are coming saying that they approached for 'kartik basu movie' and not Aashiqui movie. I think earlier too Sharvari's PR team published articles saying that Sharvari replaced Tripti in Aashiqui. Sharvari's PR team seems pretty aggressive. And I thought she was already finalized for Dharma movie. I don't know Sharvari is getting linked to now every Kartik's movie. Sure she must be finalized for one, but articles saying that she is finalized for Aashiqui makes no sense to me. Getting linked with Aashiqui franchise will only get one some hype and talking points in news. And I think makers put it out that they are approaching Imaanvi for 'Kartik basu movie '.

Talking about the new starkid in the town, whose PR is just so aggressive that even if you like her first glimpse, you're left irritated by the sheer number of times she's thrown at your feed. Ofc I am talking about Rasha. Her PR changed the entire movie promotion. Cause she has a fourth fiddle role in the movie, behind Ajay, Azad(the horse which is the titular character) & Aaman. Hence the PR generated lot of buzz for the only thing in the movie which is focused on her,the item song. Now the song is decent,not bad but nothing to write home about. Same about Rasha's performance as well. Not exceptional but she def looked good in it. However, then started the barrage of posts & news & stuff about her being better than other starkids & the next Katrina & so. This all even before we've watched her acting skills, which should be the most important one. Personally what irks me here is that this has completely shifted the movie promotion. There aren't many movies in bollywood about human animal relation & Charlie 777 proves if done right, these movies will find audience. However,the item song focus has alienated that audience & has tried to attract the regular mass audience, who wouldn't bother to watch a movie like that. Setting up for total failure. Even on music side, I preferred 'Birangay' lot more & 'Azad hai tu' is absolutely gem. But many people won't even notice it.
