Any info on space coast job

Wondering if anyone has any useful insight into this position out of the space coast.

What is salary range? It is only posted for CO and CA.

What is work life balance like?

Ability to work remote?

Any other insight would be greatly appreciated!!

I wouldn't listen to these other comments. Do not expect the same salary as Colorado or Washington. These locations pay more. And it depends on the group, but I've had five managers in two years (one of the down sides) and they've been very accommodating with work life balance. The chances of remote work are slim to none, unless they don't have a desk for you. If you are able to get a desk, the expectation is work from work 5 days a week. It will be busy IF you stay on new Glenn, but that could change in 6 months depending on what happens

5 managers in two years? Why? Definitively sounds like a red flag. Any upsides of working there?

Blue likes to keep expanding. Changing managers was all due to groups merging or moving, not due to turnover. I love the many business resource groups and events they have. You can bring your dog in office too if you have a dog. And if you love space, everyone around you is just as passionate.

Working at blue is like sitting at the smart kids table in highschool. Lots of people into physics, math, 3D printing, IT and of course space lol! It’s a great place to feel like you belong if you can relate to these hobbies :)

I forgot to say no other company or industry would pay me as much as I'm making right now 😂

Ahhh… see… now we are getting somewhere lol.

I have heard they do pay much higher than most other space/defense companies around. Which would be the sole reason for my move.

Don’t forget the free goldfish and diet coke. 🤣

But in all seriousness, never had an issue working here some business units are definitely crazy compared to others.

Yep same I’ve had had a lot of new managers over the last 2 years. We have had a new CEO come in so as you might expect there have been some org changes and middle management turnover
