Experience with Ebikes in Georgia?

I'm looking to buy an ebike that is quite expensive to me (around 1400). And I can't help but see the biggest concern I have is potential theft. I live in the Dunwoody area and travel to Roswell as well. I wanted to know for those whow live in this area. What has your experience been like with Ebikes safety and theft?

I’m also in dunwoody/Sandy springs. Check out the Alpharetta greenway! I go to the rock mill park entrance, you access it off a roundabout. The trail itself is about 15 miles from Roswell to union hill park which is in alpharetta I think. Rock mill is a good mid way point. Honestly if you just type alpharetta greenway it’ll take you there. I’m looking for other areas to ride my road bike though if there are reccomendations!

Eh you can get around most of intown atlanta by bike pretty easily. Also easy to take bikes on MARTA. Outside of intown and gridded tho neighborhoods nope. But Especially an ebike makes it effortless and easier to accelerate in car traffic if its busier
