Discussion Feature Request for BF6
Battlefield team, I strongly encourage you to address this issue. The inclusion of themes like Santa, cowboys, and other out-of-place elements disrupts the immersive experience that Battlefield is known for. While I recognize and even enjoy some of the skins in BF2042, the use of highly contrasting colors, such as bright greens and pinks, clashes with the franchise's established aesthetic.
I'm not advocating for the removal of skins or even restricting them to muted tones like in BFV. However, a simple toggle option to enable or disable all skins would be a highly appreciated addition.

Discussion The 'Historical Accuracy' argument in this sub is annoying.
"Oh but you're rewriting history and dishonoring those who died" yeah like we aren't playing A FUCKING GAME that takes place in the same brutal and horrible wars that humanity ever fought for fun :v
Honestly, IDK about the historical inaccuracies. BF1/V are both fun and great games and if you can see that because "boo-hoo its hot historical" then you're looking at the wrong franchise for that.

Discussion Am i too innocent to ask why a multibillionaire company like EA needs to shut down servers?
I would understand if it is a game that nobody plays anymore or something but all Battlefields (beside Hardline) have a lot of players playing their games, so why you need to shut it down? Its not like EA will broke for let the servers ON, you know? Yes I'm worried since they shut it down BF3, now they may come for ps4 games...

I mean it. Describe to me how DICE, assuming they got their shit together, would make this game.

Discussion Do you think there should be improved gore with dismemberment in the new battlefield?
If I can blow a hole in a wall with a tank, I should be about to blow someone in half with a tank shell as well.

Discussion I hope the next Battlefield game stays more or less 'authentic' regarding the soldier skins and doesn't fall into the path of the absolute shame only for the greed of money like other fps games. Considering it will be set around the 90s-2000s...

Discussion What the heck?
I had heard that servers were shut down, but I thought it was just servers for Xbox 360 and PS3. I’m playing on my Xbox series X and figured the weekend was a good time to catch a game of conquest. Looks like I can’t play?
Just a few months ago, I was playing non stop on conquest and now it’s gone forever? Or am I wrong here?

Discussion In my opinion, Battlefield 1 is the greatest Battlefield game ever made.
It's sort of a bold statement, yes, but I truly believe it. I've played every main release since Bad Company 2, and none others truly compare to the sense of all-out combat seen in BF1. It's highly cinematic at almost every corner, the maps are faithful to their real-life counterparts, and it's incredibly engaging to me. Are there issues? Yes. Are some weapons/vehicles way too powerful? Of course. But I think anyone not considering this as one of the greatest releases in the series should spend more time with it

Discussion What do you guys think about NATO vs a global PMC being the setting for the next BF game? (I think it’s very mid)
According to the leaks/articles the next game will feature NATO vs a global private military. This sounds awfully like the Nopats from 2042. Why don’t they just carry on what they did with BF2, BC, BF3 and BF4 and just give us country based factions? So many bad guys to choose from: Iran, Russia, China, Korea. IMO BF2’s factions were perfect. Just do fictional nations if real life nations are too on the chin, but not Notepads again. Just make it grounded. What do you guys think?
