As someone who lives in the electorate, this isn't a good choice for the libs

A "working class" culture war based campaign could actually be an effective strategy from the liberals, at least in closing the gap in both the primary and 2pp, but it's unlikely to be successful.

I predict that the Labor Party will win, but they will have a decent swing against them and this could become a marginal seat if the Liberal Party goes all in on culture war nonsense (which would cost them seats in other areas simultaneously)

It would be a serious concern to Labor if they lost a seat like Werribee. It’s very red.

Conversely this is the exact type of electorate the Libs believe they can target, esp the fed Libs where they are trying to appeal to outer suburbs working class than the traditional affluent inner city suburbs taken over by Teals. It would spell a bit of a disaster for the Libs if they can't make significant ground in this by-election.
