Need help with licensing (vic) Legislation- Victoria

Just need some help with the identification referee part of my license I don’t know anyone on the list at all after trying for 4 months I can’t find a single person who will help so that’s completely off the table but I was calling around a few hunting stores last night and a couple of them mentioned a way to do it that involves getting a statutory declaration instead but they couldn’t really explain it very well wondering if anyone here has had any experience doing it this way and can point me in the right direction

A post office manager can do it if you have one you go to a bit. They don't have to know you its not a referance check it's just to say you are who you are so if they met you a year plus ago that all legal.

I’ll have to check if my local is a private one or a public one it’s ran by a lovely old lady so I’m sure she would help if she could

Just let her know its not a reference check it's just a letter to say you are who you say you are she only has to have met you once over a year ago to be in the clear
