Is it too late to find a CPA? Anyone have recommendations for one in SF?

I work in tech so someone well versed in taxes related to stock investments and RSUs is a must

It's unlikely you'll find any CPA working on December 31st at 3:30 pm. Wait until January 2nd for best results.

do you know how much they might charge for a relatively simple case? (tech worker with RSU's)

I run a small CPA firm based down in LA, but I serve all clients remotely. Besides small business owners, the other niche my practice serves is tech professionals with equity comp - I used to work as a CPA for a tech company myself so I understand firsthand how confusing the tax implications of equity comp can be.

Give me a shout if you're interested and feel free to check out my website at dougjohnsoncpa.com for more info!

It seems you need a local physical person and it's a hard to get quality people last minute. I personally use www.doola.com for my ecommerce, they handle everything, taxes, Bookkeeping and compliance. Guys there are friendly, use them and see what they recommend for you. W-2s and 1099s aren’t even due until the end of the month... Just be timely in providing your documents and you won’t necessarily need to file an extension.
