What's the best book you've ever read?

For me "best" is the only book I literally couldn't put down.

Stephen King, 'The Gunslinger' read it straight in one day. Haven't done another book that way.

I read 'The Thin Man' every couple years, but never in one day.

Hey mate, just wanted to check if you read the whole dark tower series or just the first one? because I would put that series as one of the best I've ever read.

Read the second novel (slower) but then tried reading book three like...three times and could never get through it.

Something about Book 1 is just special (probably the drugs it was pre-van hit for King I believe lol)

Yep, it's funny you mention the van hit, you owe it yourself, king and especially Roland to walk the beam till the end gunslinger!

And for me book one was special as well, I've read it countless times, But books 6&7 were just something else for me too, some of the best storytelling EVER.

May you have long days and pleasant nights

Did he ever finish it? I loved the gunslinger but so irritated that the sequels were taking so long to come out so I kinda gave up

There's even been some prequel stuff and a comic book series
