Discussion Best sleep night of 2 years
galleryPretty much since I got the watch Iāve been diehard about pretty much every night. Iām 57F so deep sleep is abysmal. Iām lucky if I close my rings ever. I also started heavy lifting and exercising 6 days a week. I just pray for more Deep sleep every night so I can recover from aches and pains.
I just made a possible big correlation btwn taking an ibuprofen b4 bed and getting deep sleep. Although I know this canāt be a long-term every night kind of thing.

Discussion Which watch to get? Series 9 or 10?
Hello! Looking at getting my first watch. I was going to go SE route but it doesnāt have SE.
I was wondering if I should buy the new 10 or I should save some money and go for the series 9?
Iāve got small wrists (Iām aware theyāre in different sizes) and looking for a clear screen. Will mostly be using it for fitness and health tracking.
Thank you!

My Watch Salt water ingress into Series 7
galleryIāve been swimming with this watch countless times over the last 3 years. I always rinse the watch in fresh water afterwards. Yesterday I noticed that my watch wouldnāt power on after swimming the previous day. After another rinse and some time outside, a large amount of salt has crystallised between the display and body of the watch. Also noticed during the rinse that bubbles were coming out from this area too. How screwed is my watch and do you think Apple will repair it?

Support Weight lifting in the workout section?
New user. Does Apple Watch not have just a normal weight lifting workout that you can also track sets with? I did my first workout with it today and just used the functional strength training workout but it doesnāt have the option to monitor rest and sets. Am I missing something?

My Watch My Top 5 Apple Watch Health & Fitness Apps: Sleep, Stress, Fitness, Readiness, HRV & Workouts!
Hi everyone! š
I believe this post could be of interest to many of you in this community. If you're looking to make the most of your Apple Watch for health and fitness, here are my top 5 favorite apps that I use daily. They help with everything from tracking sleep and managing stress to improving workouts and monitoring HRV (Heart Rate Variability).
Feel free to try these out and let me know your thoughts or share your own favorite health & fitness apps in the comments!
š± The Apps:
- Health App: The built-in Apple Health app is my foundation. I use it to check HRV trends, sleep stages (light, deep, and REM), and ensure my vitals are within typical ranges.
- Withings: Provides an easy-to-understand Sleep Score and a detailed breakdown of my night's sleep, including light, deep, and REM stages. A great companion to the Health app for sleep tracking!
- StressWatch: Tracks real-time stress levels and average HRV throughout the day. The app syncs with your Apple Watch for on-the-go stress monitoring.
- Training Today: Calculates a readiness score based on HRV, helping me decide whether to push hard during workouts or take a rest day. Itās perfect for balancing effort and recovery.
- BodyState: Combines Body Battery and HRV data to show energy levels and recovery insights. Itās like a personal energy dashboard to plan your day effectively.
These apps are free to use but also offer paid versions with additional features.
If you want to see more details, Iāve made a video breaking everything down! Check it out here: YouTube Link

Support Apple Watch Link Bracelet Serial Numer
Can anyone else see/find a serial number on their newer link bracelets (like the natural titanium, slate, gold ones that just came out). I can't seem to find it on mine unlike the Reddit post below.

Support Battery Draining
Anyone else noticed over the past few days there battery not lasting the whole day?
My partner first mentioned it on her series 7 and now a day later with a 40min workout my series 9 had not lasted the whole day!
Just wondering if a watchOS update or a maybe an app update is draining our batteries ruining their performance.
Any ideas would be appreciated

Support Watch App Stuck Loading?
galleryIs there a way to remove a watch without having to go through the usual unpair process? Second photo shows what happens when I press the info button.
Also every time I try to āAdd Watchā it runs through the pairing process with the viewfinder and then after a minute or so it just goes back to the first image.
For context, I was pairing an S5 running on 10.6.1 to a 14 running on 18.2.1 ā the pairing process went through and everything seemed fine but apps were not downloading at all.
I tried resetting my network settings and restarting my iPhone to see if this would help but nopeā¦ so I reset my watch so I could just start fresh but now this is what happens. If I try deleting the watch app on my iPhone it asks me to unpair any watches before deleting š
I tried going on iCloud and deleting it through there but the same thing happens too
Iām assuming because I didnāt unpair before I reset this is why itās on an endless loop? If anyone has any tips I would greatly appreciate it š

Support Why is my resting energy so low all the sudden? Nothing else has changed.
galleryI noticed that my diet app wasnāt giving me bonus calories and said I didnāt meet my goals for like days. But Iāve been super busy and doing physical chores (mowing, cleaning, and parking on the carā¦) every day the last week or so that I havenāt been working out. But instead of my resting energy remaining steady itās lower than itās ever been (and been going down despite no major changes- even charging watch about the same amount of time every day). Did they change something about their algorithm or something? You can see from the photos that on the beginning and end of December, it remained pretty steady despite working out for longer or harder on some day or like today, doing 4 hours of yard work. But now, the harder Iāve worked in a day the less it gives me for resting so no matter what I do the number of calories I burn in a day 1500 or so instead of being about to push it up a bit. (Iām 5ā1ā 147 trying to get down to 130)
