I just haven't been able to pay anything for Apple since last month. Every day I went to support and asked for an analysis, and they told me to test it again in 24 hours. I can't pay or buy anything else. I need help and I need to resolve this without help from support as they don't want to help. I've already added cards from other banks to my account, but nothing helps. I need help

Switched to a new phone and number. The verify option was for my old phone number. I went into my bank app and changed it to my current phone number.

Now when I go back to try and verify, no number is an option besides calling the bank. I was just wondering if there was a quick solution to avoid the headaches of calling the bank.

For the past few days I haven’t been getting any notifications from iMessage and it’s beginning to affect my relationship.

I don’t have DND on and hide alerts isn’t active on any contact.

About an hour ago I randomly noticed that under my iCloud settings on my iPhone that there was randomly a third device listed under my iCloud devices, the first two being my iPhone and my MacBook, as expected.

However, the third device was the symbol of a monitor and the device seemed to be a “Samsung UNU7090”. I searched up what that is and I can’t seem to figure it out exactly but it’s either a smart TV or a desktop monitor thing.

I have a few important questions because I’m pretty unnerved by this whole thing

— First of all, how is it possible that a non-Apple device is listed under my iCloud devices list? I thought Apple devices only would be considered for an individual’s iCloud devices?

— Second of all, how could this device possibly been added to my iCloud account w hen I never was asked permission to add it to my account, I never approved it being added, nor was I even ever notified that it was added in the first place?

— Third, and most importantly, how worried should I be about the security of my account? Was I hacked?? I have all the maximum security setting active on my account and I did prior to this already, I just changed my password after noticing this and removing the device from my account immediately, and I heightened security setting on my account as much more as they possibly could go.

I will take any advice on this matter, whether it’s about further securing my account, theories/educated guesses why someone would want to do this to me, or any other general info that you would think is helpful to me. Thank you all!

tl;dr: a random Samsung device was added to my list of iCloud devices without my knowledge, what could be the purpose of this/how worried should I be (my iCloud acct settings are highly secure)

I checked my Apple ID and for some reason there was an unfamiliar iPad logged into it and it didn’t have a model type and just said “iPad” and on the ‘Find My’ app it says the iPad is online pretty much all the time and doesn’t have a location.

I just checked my iCloud settings and they looked normal, I just wanted to go on Reddit to make sure that it was legit/not legit

hello! i have an Iphone 7+ with me and this is the first time i’m experiencing it. Was browsing ‘til midnight when my wifi connection got cut. I thought it was just because they were having maintenance so i did not bother but when I woke up the next morning, i can’t turn my wifi on. The past few days, I have to restart my phone to have a chance to connect to my wifi but some times it works and some times it doesn’t so i was left with no choice but to wait for hours. there are also times when i can connect normally and it’ll last for hours but there’s no day where i can’t. i hope there’s still a way to fix this on my own since purchasing a new phone is not yet my priority.

Hello. My MacBook Pro was working fine yesterday but today when I went to use it, it wouldn’t power on. Here are some things I’ve tried.

-Unplug all accessories -Held down power for 10 seconds -Reset SMC -Swapped out the USBC charging cable -Reseated the battery -Reseated the keyboard -Tried booting with battery disconnected

The keyboard backlight isn’t coming on in any of my testing so I’m assuming that means it truly is a power issue and not a display issue. I also plugged the cable into my phone and it charged so the AC adapter is also working. Everything is Apple brand as I know sometimes they don’t play nice with 3rd party. I’m willing to give anything a shot and I’m tech savvy so if I need to take it apart again I’m willing. Any help is appreciated!

I turned on iCloud synch for my notes app so I could edit a note with a friend- we were writing a song.

Now all my notes are gone, all the way back to 2019. Those old notes are there.

Please for the love of god tell me there is some way to recover them? I am a songwriter and my notes app stored countless songs, set lists, production notes, so many pieces of text that I can’t lose.

I am legit not gonna be okay if it’s all just gone.

This is a macbook pro with retina display from 2012. I was on a zoom call and the screen completely turned off but the call was still going. The camera and everything else were working still. At one point it came back looking normal, but then it cut out again. Now this is what the login screen looks like. Does anyone know what the issue is? Is it something I can take care of or do I need to bring it in?

Is it just a placeholder, just a way for 2FA? It's not like Apple can access that email account or anything in it...right?

I sent someone a birthday message over audio on iMessage from my phone and it says delivered, but I don't see it in our messages on my Mac. I haven't received a response from the person yet and I'm wondering if they actually received it.

Can anyone confirm if this is a known thing? I rarely send audio messages but the ones I receive are usually visible on both my Mac and iPhone and I can listen from either device.

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to switch to a different Apple ID under family sharing. I just realized that I am using the same Apple ID as my mother, and would like to switch ID on the same IPhone but under family sharing. I’m not sure if that makes sense lol. We share the same Apple ID but I don’t use iCloud, however I am still scared about losing any of my data. I’m not sure how/if I can create an additional family member account for my myself and switch to that on the iPhone I’m currently using. Would I have to log out and create a separate account first, and then add it?

I recently tried making a new account for Apple to try to redeem a 3 month free trial of Apple TV from Best Buy, but upon trying to enter in my newly created password too many times, it locked me out of the account. When I try unlocking the account, it just gives me a 'this Apple Account is not valid or not supported' error message, presumably because I haven't gotten around to verifying the account with my email yet (which I was trying to do). Do I have to just make a new account with a new email address, or can I wait an amount of time for the account to unlock itself?

Hi 👋 I'm having some issues with my MBP m1 13. I have replaced the bottom screen bezel that was cracked. Used the laptop for 1h and suddenly that ghosting started. Turning it off or if screen goes to sleep, I hear the booting chime but no picture. Forcing it to turn off and restarting does the trick. 15min after the glitches appear again. The 2nd lcd ribbon, from right to left feels a bit hot to the touch when the glitches appear. Chat gpt log review, from when I reboot the laptop after forced off, tells me failure AppleDCPDPTXPowerController.cpp, assertion No device added after powering on the rails. HPD=0. Most of the ghosting appears only in the desktop, sometimes on top of apps too with bright colours. Is the issue with the lcd itself or could it be connection to the motherboard issue? Any tips if it can be solved? Thank you in advance :)

Hi! I am trying to transfer money from vinted to my bank account and i need to verify my email with some code. I dont get the code anywhere in my email or in the settings hide my emails part where i can see the email but no emails are there either. The email is like ornwowbrpwbd@privaterelay.appleid.com (not the real privaterelay email) it says that its supposed to share emails sent to this account to my normal email but any messages doesent come there. I have also tries checking all my spam folders and code is not there either and also tried checking the icloud.com but its not there. This is so annoying ah!

I have an Apple iPad generation 7. Every time I go on YouTube to play a video It Doesn't play and the volume doesn't work at all. I've tried hard resetting it and turning off my ringer and do not disturb nothing works. Spotify doesn't even work. I recently got a 13 in IPad Pro and am moving it.
However, some apps, such as instagram, show in the same resolution as the phone app, meaning it doesn’t take up the full screen. Is there any way to correct this and make use of the full 13 in?

Apple account has been locked due to security concerns. I have access to the email. 2FA is turned on and I have access to the phone numbers. I have access to all the rusted devices on the account. I have the 28-character recovery key. When submit the unlock request at https://iforgot.apple.com/unlock, I confirm the phone number, and I get no email. It has been a month. Apple tier 2 support says there is no way to recover my account.

What is the point of a recovery key if it can't be used on a locked account? I understand users not being able to contact the security/privacy department directly, but why can't apple support contact them? Is there a place were people are uniting their voices to get apple to recognize their overzealous/inept security policies?
