Really depends on what film you want. But if you're into experimenting, that's kinda lomographys whole shtick. If you're looking for more standard Kodak, Fuji, or Ilford film stocks, I buy most of my stuff at either dirtcheapfilm, film photography project, or reflx lab.

Thanks, Ill check those shops out. I guess I should have clarified more that I'm looking for discontinued film as well.

For that your best bet is probably eBay. I can't think any shops off hand that specialize in expired film, but they might be out there!

Edit: I guess I'm bad at reddit and don't know how to post pictures and text at the same time.

I want to experiment more with different and weird film stocks, especially discontinued film stocks. I have a batch of Superia and few random stocks, but I want to try more.

I've been loving Phoenix and Metropolis I'm especially looking for 120 film, but if there's any cool film that you think I should try in 35mm, I'm always happy for recommendations. I've been loving Phoenix and Lomo on 120. I also just got some expired superia that I've been shooting at +2 stops. I can't add the Lomo shot because the files too large even for a jpg, I guess.

Also, where do yall buy your expired and discontinued film from generally? I've been using etsy and ebay to relatively fine results.

Images for example.

Thanks yall

Film Washi does some weird stuff in both 120 and 35mm.

Edit: I goofed and said Flic Film is originally...

eBay is a good place, I like to make sure mine is cold stored but have found some old vericolor, and fuji stocks from the 90s that look amazing. The shadier the film the cheaper it’ll be if you just want to experiment, you may be into the color shifts and grain texture.
