Was a little bummed about the missing spots on the tree, but apparently it's supposed to be like that? Does your lamp have dark spots on it too (especially at the wings?)
I think that's intentional on the lamp as well - it makes the lamp look like it's actually metal with some petina on it instead of just a flat piece of plastic. The lamp in the game is supposed to be used, and old.
