The funny thing is that I predicted that TENET would be based on Sator square waaaay before full trailers came out. Just because I happened to know that Tallinn’s concert hall played the role of Kyiv OPERA before the word spread out. And I witnessed the shooting of backward driving on “Tallinn highway”, which is Laagna road right next to my house. So I connected the dots and presumed the movie would be tightly connected with the Sator square, which was an important symbol for me from long ago. But today I got it on my arm.

Why was it an important symbol for you for such a long time?

I had first stumbled upon Sator square in the beginning of 2000s, with an appetite for all things philosophic and esoteric. To me this “farmer Arepo” thing was like “hey, this is just a layer of understanding this”. So for me now the Sator square signifies the following: a skillful person turns the wheels (of his existence or reality) with his power of will, with his beliefs or tenets.

Were people in town gossiping about things going on on the highway?

A whole lot. The shootings took place in various locations (Linnahall - just google it, Paljasaare port, former Justice court building, Pärnu road in downtown, Laagna road). Changes in traffic, including one of most important roads that connects the largest sleeping district with the center - some people were mad as hell about that. At least 3000 extras went to Linnahall for shooting the opening sequence. There were even some cultural events sponsored by WB to sweeten the bitter traffic pill. People secretly taking pictures and videos. Me myself... I witnessed the shooting of Tallinn heist out of my window, because of the splendid view on Laagna road. Three summer weeks of looking at cars going backwards to their positions, spotting a PT or Neil under a bridge next to me when I went for a walk. This was a surreal experience.

That is pretty awesome. I would love to see Nolan at work. I remember watching the opening opera siege and thinking to myself, "Wow, that is a lot of extras to organize!" I would've kept an eye barely open to see all the action. I did see someone already point out a blooper or two where a person or two didn't get "knocked out" by the sleeping gas. :)
They filmed the HBO sitcom "Silicon Valley" here in the San Francisco Bay Area. :-)

Is it because you looked up the word palindrome on Wikipedia

Thanks to my literature teacher I knew what a palindrome was since being a kid

Nice that's awesome!
As soon as the title of the film was announced, I immediately thought about the SATOR square that our religion teacher taught us about in grade 10. I still have my notes! I'll try to find them and post a pic.

It’s the expression made by a three eyed alien when it sees the three boobed woman from Total Recall.

That’s what people say, but I had it done ten years ago and it’s really personal

I was just kidding and I hope you didn’t take offense.
All tattoos are personal reminders of something you deeply connect with. Or at least, I hope they all are.
I have a bunch of triangles that signify my 10 years living in San Francisco. To me, it’s SF. To others, I’m part of Delta delta delta delta delta fraternity :)

No offense, really, I always get the irony and go with it most of the times. It’s just this strange habit — always answering questions deadpan serious. Donno where this pretty anti-social and limiting habit comes from

Remove the plastic as soon as you get home after a tattoo, then clean it gently with non scented soap. Take care

I did, thank you, kind person! Special ointments are also applied regularly

I am absolutely never getting a tattoo but I would 1000% never regret this. Weird way to compliment you, but there you go.

I do understand the compliment. Thank you! You see, after I had my first one done... I knew straight away there’d be more. But each one was not spontaneous. At least six months of thinking and deciding

Totally random but Turnstile is the best track on the entire album. It has a little bit from almost every track. Cool tattoo by the way!
