This is the stuff that should keeps you up at night. Social security becomes insolvent in 8 years, the passing of this bill brings the insolvency 6 months sooner---it is ridiculous that this was passed. This is a handout to public employees who already have a pension and did not pay into social security. And of course it was passed with enormous support by both parties.
