Hi.

I remember an old game where you played as a blue-ish / grey robot which started the level by breaking out of one of those big test tube containers that was in a laboratory, you then fought your way through the laboratory / office complex by shooting, jumping and melee-ing enemies. The level ended with a giant wall that had guns coming out of it that you had to shoot.

I can't tell you what the next few levels were like as I never made it to them as I wasn't too good and the game was very hard. It would have been on an old flash game website, perhaps Ebaums World or Addicting Games?

Does this ring a bell for anyone? I'm sorry I can't give too more, it's quite a faint memory now.

Lone Faction [PC] [early or mid 2000's] Flash game where you play a blue robot/cyborg fighting other robots in order to escape some kind of science-y facility.

Platform: PC (flash player sites)

Genre: Side-scrolling platformer/shooter

Graphics/art style: Very Flash, with a muted color pallet and a lot of grey level design.

Notable characters: None really, besides the blue humanoid robot and a voice over at the very start explaining the story.

Notable mechanics: iirc there was a jetpack

Other details:
- The boss of the second(?) level is a 4 legged spider robot with laser cannons on either end of an ovoid body. It crawled around on the walls of the boss arena, pausing to firing a linear beam you had to dodge from the corners of the room.

- One of the earliest enemies in the game was a purple robot that crawled around back and forth on spider legs.

- The third level was some kind of dark, dingy scrapyard.

- The final thing the intro dude says was something like "I don't know what they'll do to me for helping you, just don't make it in vain."

Platform(s): Most certainly Flash

Genre: Platformer / Shooter

Estimated year of release: After 2000, before 2015

Graphics/art style: Mostly grey colors and clear outlines.

Notable characters:

The Main Character, a humanoid robot with a large "nose".

One of the enemy-types is a robot, cylindrical in shape with a dome on top, which could be collapsed to then shoot a white laser beam.

Notable gameplay mechanics: Gun is fixed in position, meaning you have to jump and shoot to kill an enemy on a platform.

I'm talking about a sort of adventure/side scroller game where you play as a ?robot? or a guy in a robot suit. I used to play it as kid on funnygames.com. I remember it wasn't that hard but there was a boss which was hard to beat.

Anyway it was a 2D sidescroller game where you did have a gun (I think). It was set in some industrial environment. I also think you entered new floors by using an elevator.

Eternal bliss and grate fullness to the finder,
