FYI the drydocks in the southern half of the map have collision disabled so you can take good screenshots without having to squeeze your ship in.

For those who want to know, McKinley Station is the little blip in the northeast or upper-right area of the map. Head in the direction of the portal to the Captain's Table.

I hope that they have not fixed the bug of the ground model loading instead of the ship model so I can have pictures of my Borg toon standing on the station again.

Congrats to the artist that did it.

I think it is way too small and the system feels very empty now. And choosing to keep the snail-pace ship speed restrictions is a fun killer that just makes me avoid getting too close for a good look (and it's not even canon: We watch hero captains ignore the speed limit all the time). And the Earth turns way too fast...

Personally, I prefer the old one and find it sad that it's lost, likely forever. Change for the sake of change is really just...mucking about. Let's see new stuff, instead of a different person's take on the beloved originals. Reboots are boring.

But again, congrats to the artist!

The station seems a bit smaller than I would have thought, even though an Odyssey in front of my flew into one of the hangars when I visited this morning. Earth is beautiful though and seems to much larger!

Gone with the old ESD is the bug that would let you fly your ship inside the dock. It made for some nice role playing and space Barbie.
