Slot torpedo spread 1 and FAW 3. Currently, you are kind of backward with respect to weapon priority

FAW1/TS3 gives me a few percent more in total than FAW3/TS1 ,

Are you absolutely sure about that? In all the FAW builds I've ever seen, FAW has always had a higher rank than TS. And I know for sure that the DPSers are not wrong about how the BOff abilities parse.

yeah iam sure , i have one of those DPSers in my fleet too , he gave me that advice , he tested it. Then i did it and he was right , this combo give few more percents on measured run. Especially with my build , my gear and tray

While I understand using the Dark Matter Torpedo for the two piece bonus with Lorca‘s console. With the beam setup you are more in a broad side position and outside of the arc of the torpedo. Don’t know if it’s worth not using the torpedo over the bonus. And excuse me I am still pretty new to the game a d don’t know everything to the heart. So if I talk bs. Just disregard it.

For FAW, you pretty much need to use a torpedo with a short cooldown to keep Entwined Tactical Matrices up. It requires a bit of piloting skill, but it helps to have the Competitive engines' speed boost every time you use a firing mode so you can swing around to fire the fore torp without losing much time on the aft beams. And if you have to use a torpedo with a short cooldown, it's really hard to beat the DMQT.
Also with FAW, weapons will target independently, so if you have any enemies in the sides and rear you can still get damage out even if your primary target is in the fore arc.-3

The prolonged engagement torp and wide angle quantum torp have 180 degree arc that is useful on broadside boats. I think 8 seconds each on cooldown.
Also, there's a kelvin torp with a 6 second cooldown that does pretty well, only 90 degree arc though.

I know there are better variants , iam not into enormous DPS or functionality , i fly it how i like it :)

Yeah, I'm less concerned with dps than I am with having fun, just offering information if you weren't aware.
I drive a broadside terran lexxie as my main and I'll sometimes slot some 180 degree torps just to change it up. Usually though, I'm either running the quantum phase or the terran torps.

I don't know why received so many downvotes for just suggesting some other potentially fun options.
However, it is true that either the Dark Matter Quantum Torpedo or the Disco Wide-Angle DBB provide a truly significant buff when complementing Lorca's Custom Firing Controls.

Yeah wide angel torp off Sovereign is the best I've found for my broadside tank builds. Others have too long of a cooldown that can fk up the Entwined trait.

I like that one as well. I think the prolonged engagement is also 8 seconds though? Going from memory so I could be wrong.
It can be fun to have 180s in front and back and just park beside the dreadnoughts though 👍

It's worse than the Sov one (marginally,) but it's an easy one to get though.

I know it isn’t meta but I like using Kelvin torpedo and Maelstrom fore and Kelvin aft. With Captain using command primary, I like the results. (Also I prefer the Kelvin Quad Micro torps for AFT just so I know always if a fore or aft spread was triggered. The maelstrom torps I fire manually.
Spewing torps constantly for proccing the command captain stuff. Seems pretty good

I caved and bought myself a Lexington too, named her USS Akagi and mine similar to you build, however what is that in the engineering console if you don’t mind me asking
2
u/Litbow-nte 12h ago
They are Console - Advanced Engineering - Isomagnetic Plasma Distribution Manifold most likely with the “[phaser]” mod. You can get Mk II on the exchange for about 12-20mil EC. They provide stacking weapon power and max weapon power.

Thanks, I’ve neglected crafting so much that I didn’t even remember I could make one

Don't know much about builds, but with that much gold you could kick my butt in a PVP. I was confused about the 5 Superior Watcher Operative and the 6 Doffs. Are some on space duty and others on ground?
Edit: Downvote harder, people! Rent fREEEEEEEEEEE!

u/noahssnark 14h ago
Watchers are bridge officers, Felix and Calliope and Amentet etc have the trait providing the crit bonus.
