On my bathroom wall in Wilderness, Western Cape, South Africa Insect

About 5 cm stretched out like that. I have a bit of trouble sleeping while it's just sitting there a meter from the bedroom (I'm a tourist, no scorpions in my country). Wife said "just ignore it" and fell asleep, great :)

Had missed posting rules so adding time of the day and year. It's sitting there right now, 30 January 2024 just before midnight i.e. summer.

What species is it exactly?

Google lens found me similar larger one called Cape Creeper. Could it be a baby Cape Creeper?
