Reminiscent of 96-97 or whenever the five fell into the south. I saw a barn floating down the north out page road.

That year was scary. Remember the landslides and sinkhole?

Yep. Half the freeway was just gone.

Myrtle creek made national news in the 96 storm. Water went over the bridge at the dairy queen

How that shit heap doesn’t just wash away in conditions like this is beyond me

It was built properly.

It actually wasn’t. They used pressure treated materials that are still leeching heavy metals into the water. And the source for the city water is just down stream from it btw👌

Yeah properly, cause in 1890 that was proper.

I'm sure thankful it's there!

Why? it does literally nothing except kill fish and give rich people an exclusive place to waterski

It is not a private nor exclusive waterway. It is open to the public, which means you have as much right to be on there, water, skiing or swimming or doing whatever. As any other person

That seems like it is a high capacity.

Is the fish ladder viewing area under water?

No, but the floor in there I believe is flooded
