Quick cider was actually pretty good

I let a cider ferment 7 days and cold crashed for 2. I wanted to give a taste test so I poured some and added a bit of apple juice and sugar and served chilled. Was expecting rocket fuel or vomit juice but it actually tasted ok like a cheap to mid budget wine.

Very small hint of sour/sulfur but would obviously taste better with some age.

Yeah cheap, half decent cider is surprisingly easy. If you like to dry just a ton of sugar and juice makes a totally drinkable beverage. I can’t believe how easy it is

This is one of the reasons cider was so popular historically.

Beer took a lot of work to make, but cider (much like wine) just requires you to smash the fruit and press out the juice.
